Nurse hesitated at the wrong time, should have been on the court the second that ball went through the basket. I think Lowry wanted to just get the ball to maxey quickly and it all went bad very fast.

If Nick Nurse had called that time out with 27 seconds left, not only it would move them past midcourt, not only there would be a three second differential between shot clock and game clock, the Sixers would be out of timeouts. He just didn't want to waste his final timeout after they lost a challenge.
