  • In this video, we share our tips and tricks of adding a Milwaukee M18 power tool battery to a stock powerwheels brand ride on. We take a dead battery and use the wiring plug to build an adapter that plugs into the lithium-ion battery slot. Basic electrical tools such as wire cutters, strippers, and crimper will be needed to complete this modification. Boost the stock speed of 5 mph to 7.5 with this cool little trick that will be sure to put a smile on your kid's face. We have used this setup for years and have won a ton of kids powerwheels derby races. Below are links to the products used in this video. On my sons old 6v f150 power wheels I tried ryobi 18 volt 1.5 amp which works great but yea dies fast and 18v 4 amp but the 40amp inline fuse I use gets hot and fries real quick.

Uh yeah, that's 300% more voltage so u r asking those little 15,000 RPM motors to spin 45,000 rpms! That's alot... I bet it flew though...

Custom Kidz Cars yes it moved but for a short distance. With the smaller amp battery my son was going pass 5 minutes before battery drained. He loved it tho.
Might have to put a 12v battery for that power wheel?

Never worked on that model. Take it apart and confirm that it doesn't have any circuit boards.
