Brilliant little plugin and amazing that it is free! Thanks for sharing Paul. I can see this working well on any gift-type site where personalisation is often a required feature. In fact, the more I think of it, the more I can see other applications! Providing delivery options could be another idea...

I have variable products and simple products on the the variable products the select option is fine but on my simple products I want it to have a add to cart button so they are not having to go through three pages just to click add to cart. hope that makes sense thanks

Hello I'm working on a pizza delivery website and I keep running into the same problem.
Chicken counts as two items.
How do I limit the amount of toppings a person can choose? For instance if a person wants pepperoni and chicken, that counts as three items. However the program understands that there's still one option available. (Customers get 1 - 3 toppings free depending on the order). I'm afraid customers will take advantage of this feature and there will be bigger misunderstandings later down the line if I'm unable to limit use of specific toppings after they've selected a topping worth two items. Can you help me with this?

To be honest, they are both really good plugins. I've used the other plugin on a couple of client sites and would happily use this one too.
I don't think you'll go far wrong with either one.

Ive download this plug in but keep getting this message: NAME/ID must begin with a lowercase letter ([a-z]) and may be followed by any number of lowercase letters, digits ([0-9]) and underscores ("_")
Can we show an image under product description let's say based on the price range of the product?
Thank you Paul for taking the time to test all these plugins for us. Out of curiosity, what would your average woocommerce setup look like? How many extra plugins would be considers 'normal'? I know its like the 'how long is a piece of string' question....lol
It all depends, but generally I keep things pretty minimal unless there is a specific need for a feature.
So, a typical install would be WC, a product options plugin (if required), security plugin like iThemes Security, SEO like Rank Math or SEOPress and probably Elementor Pro to build the site design unless it is only an eCommerce site and no need for more custom design options.

Not with this plugin no. If you want to add options with price modifiers you'd be better off creating a variable product and add in your own variations there.
You can add price but in the pro paid version.

That's correct. If you want to add pricing changes you'd be better of using product variations where you can add pricing options.

Hi, your videos are always spot on... ive just setup my site for selling short video productions where a person orders from choosing one of our samples. I then customise this according to their specifications. This is the flow of ordering.. 1. They choose a sample after which a popup appears with extra option/features they can choose by ticking the appropriate box in which case the sum total is added accordingly and in this popup a field/box to fill in their specification/details 2. They click pay for payment to go through PayPal ... can I do this through this plug-in? Thanks so much for being here!..
I don't think so. This plugin only allows you to add additional information based fields that will be stored with your order.
If you need to adjust pricing based upon chosen options, the Pro version offers that feature. I'd suggest having a look at that to see if it covers all your bases. 😁👍

I believe the Pro version does offer a range of ways to apply charges to the extra options you add.

How is this plugin different from using custom field plugins like ACF, Meta Box, Toolset or Pods?
While you can easily add custom fields to your WooCommerce template files with a tool like ACF, you still need to get into the theme files and add in the relevant code to get them to display. The same would go for hooking into the ordering and invoicing system.
You could certainly do it, but this plugin makes the process a couple of clicks, no file editing and you're all done.

I haven't tested it with Divi but I believe it hooks into the WooCommerce structure, so should work with any theme.

Apparently the Advanced Settings tab mentioned in the video is not FREE, am I wrong?
I had created checkbox defined 100 amount on it. But when i add to cart my product, 100 amount is not adding after it. kindly resolve the bug.
