Childhood living is easy to do
The things you wanted I bought them for you
Graceless lady you know who I am
You know I can't let you slide through my hands
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away
I watched you suffer a dull aching pain
Now you decided to show me the same
No sweeping exits or offstage lines
Could make me feel bitter or treat you unkind
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away
I know I dreamed you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom but I don't have much time
Faith has been broken, tears must be cried
Let's do some living after we die
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day
Wild horses couldn't drag me away
Wild, wild horses, we'll ride them some day - Hudba
2024 here, 64 year old with tears listening to one of my many favorites......RIP CHARLIE WATTS....!!!
You bet! Charlie jazz cool drives the vibe.
I am 64 as well... Yes I felt this song down to my soul ❤
I'm 69 in two weeks and I know all to well what you mean.
I don't ... I can't understand how we got to today's music. People that aren't touched by this song are without emotions.
What music there is no music these days just a bunch of noise and big talk. Yourstruly rock-and-roller
Every generation says the new stuff sucks. The World War II generation thought the Stones sucked. Now the Stones generation thinks Billie Eilish sucks. Music is expression, it is very diverse. I like all of it for what it is. If you go back and listen to a lot of mid-60s music it is just terrible. You are cherry picking one of the top 100 songs of all time and comparing it to ALL music today. That is not a fair comparison.
I love love love this song
Man, at first I misread your comment but yeah… this generation are majorly lacking in emotions. This shit is everything. Hits deep!
Also if I may say, and (I hope you agree) imagine if Brian jones was still the man he was when they first started!? Wow…
Gives me chills every time !!❤❤
Wild horses! Sticky fingers! My absolute favorite stones album and the blues ! Ludes went quite well with this album
Brings me comfort 62 and yeah it does bring tears

How i wish I could turn back time miss the years of my life young and having fun ☺️
How can anybody not fall in love with stones after seeing this
So much talent and emotion. Whew love
My pop dedicated this song to my mom. My mom passed in 2107 he passed a year later... Almost to the day... Couldn't live without her!
A real Love Story!
Im so sorry i thought when my late husband died of renal failure in 2018 i thought i would die 35 years we were togather i l9ve and most of all. I miss him we 2 adult kids 6 he would have loved RIP BABY ILL always love you ❤❤❤
I'm so sorry
Hundreds of years from now people will still be listening to the Rolling Stones, just as we today listen to the past masters Mozart, Bach etc.
The GREATEST ROCK AND ROLL BAND
IN THE WORLD
Who can give this a dislike? A live studio recording -- no reverb, no autotune, no BS. A live studio recording true to the original studio release. Aside from being a great rendition of a great song, the coolest thing about this is how the guy asks Jagger, "Have you guys been playing Wild Horses?", and he answers, "Not recently, but we could do it, yeah" at which point Richards and Woods just launch into it. No warm up, no prelude, nothing, just play it. The whole thing is note perfect, and they probably hadn't bothered to play it for a few months. Absolutely no effing taste if you gave this a thumbs-down.
My thoughts exactly ☮️
Must have been a Justin Bieber fan.
Yeah, a great song, just a shame Jagger's ruining it.
yeah didn't mick look great he's almost sexyy .
Its the best and he sings it with such emotion
Played this at my beautiful daughters funeral. She was only 21. My tears flowing seemed to turn the grass graveside more green.
🙏🏾❤️
I’m so sorry for your loss and may god’s peace be with you and your family 🙏😇
I can't imagine that. So sorry x
My tears are flowing down my face. Will never know your grief.
I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know that time as they say, does not heal all wounds, but I hope in time you may find peace in your cherished memories of your daughter with you.
Living at Atlantic Beach NC,, on my own at ,14, sleeping in the sand under piers and surfing from sunrise until sunset. Eating once every 3 days, stolen food while tourist ate shrimp platters and stayed in hotels, long hippie hair, and loving it All. 1970!!! Great music like this gives everyone hope, something to look forward to. RIP Charlie, Thank you for the great music
Very few people project the coolness Charlie did. It was, and is, fantastic.
We're losin our legends, one at a (sad) time.
My oldest brother passed away unexpectedly last month, this reminds me of what I’m feeling inside ~ a dull aching pain.

I'm a big Stones fan but I like the Flying Burrito Brothers version better. just sayin
its a great song from the boys
Definitely a song for anyone who has loved and lost but never completely let go. Love this tune!
This song always take me back to such great times of learning the true meaning of life..
Ouch ... that hit home. You’re quite right.
It’s a timeless classic, love it 💚
They were all with women on heroin, especially mick with Maryann Faithfull and Keith with Anita Pallenberg, Maryann was miserable in Australia while mick was filming the movie Ned Kelly, it's all there if you do the research or lived it with them as I did, what kids these days think music is, barf, vomit, Justin the beaver, Taylor swifty, ewwww
Bless you for going beyond the superficial.
This is the perfect song, perfect lyric, perfect song, perfect guitars, perfect batery. The band who perform a song this way doesn't need to play anything else, because it did the best. Thank you, Rollings.
4:58 his expressions though..
Yeah, shame Jagger's croacking through it.
I love this song, it was played at my oldest brother's funeral. He loved this song, and so did my mother. May they both rest in peace. Miss you both tremendously.

Thank you for sharing such a warm, moving memory. My oldest sister did the same thing at her oldest son's funeral. It was very moving.
LAURA...??? Se lo que sientes por que ya lo viví,, un abrazo con mucho respeto, gracias por compartir algo tan profundo y triste.
The world wouldn’t have been the same without music from The Rolling Stones
this is a perfect example of when music had such passion, songs were about love, kindness and had a heartbeat, had soul. not like todays songs of violence and hatred.Miss the 50s, 60s and 70s.This music will live forever
Wild Horses 🐴. They couldn't drag me away and that's the Truth. When he went to see Her.
TRUTH!
The miracle is the Beatles and Rolling Stones arising from the ashes of WW II. Working class blokes who changed the world. I'm still hoping music can save us.

Absolutely my favorite Stones diddy, now my favorite version
pup lover Yeah! Mick can certainly sing well. He & Keith also wrote this gem. 👍👍
The video was exquisitely done. The music, the lyrics and Mick and Keith hit it out of the park with this song. It transcens me back to Pittsburg, PA and the Rolling Stone Voodoo Lounge Tour. They were magnificent, commanded the stage. Afterwards, I and my sons gathered up all the memorabilia of the concert we could. I spent $200+ on posters, t-shirts, hats, you name it. Damn, what a performance. My sons were young but it made them Stones fans for life. We still talk about it today. I was so pumped up for that concert. I wore my black western hat. I attended cowboy style.
Beautifully done. One of the few Stones songs that I enjoy.
First time I heard this song 1973 in museum of natural history with my best friend he is gone now but always remember that day we had in Central Park
The Stones, will live on with there music. Never to be forgotten. Such great music❤🎵🎼🎵🎼
This song captures perfectly the feeling of nostalgia for me, that ache in your heart for a place that no longer exist. For me, 1982 Delta Colorado, Friday night, off work from Terrell's Restaurant, cruising Main Street, house parties later, I was 19, young and free and i didn't even know it. Memories lost and forgotten like tears in the rain...
I am 61 next month. I know exactly what you mean. Youth is wasted on the young.
Beautiful put
Well said Chris. For Me it was 1975. Good times.
Soundtrack to my transitioning between child and adulthood. Thanks for the post.
@@garypiscopo6835 as well around that time..my God if only I didn't know then what I know now..wasted years? Perhaps not, I wouldn't be who I am today without them..lonely? Hell yes, for some I lost along the way and wish I had just one more chance with them..😔❤
If Wild Horses was released today it would still be an enormous hit! Timeless song
Even in 2022
Personally I do reckon that if

Music of today can't compare to the great artists and songs recorded in the 60's thru the 90's. Most songs produced today will not stand the test of time. This song is one the Stones best.
Most songs today won’t stand the test of time but we will!😊
Absolutely beautiful. I got to see The Rolling Stones in 1975 in Dallas, TX in the Cotton Bowl. They were young and bold.
i saw them n indy 91 had 10 tickets
Crying (a bit)... didn't realize this song could hit me like this now 40+ years after it first breathed its soul into my heart. Such complexity and beauty, timeless words. Blessed be*

Remember when songs as great as this one were coming out every week?
Classics that have lasted 30-40 years. I try to listen to new music today with an open mind, but most music that is played just falls short.
Indeed....especially now, 7 years later!
You're not searching hard enough then
Hey, all the music today is built upon the music from the classic Era of 50s-70s. I hear ya and I'm with you. If I'm in the car traveling, I tune my radio to the Classic sounds. Gets me down the highway every time. I love all music genre but nothing can compare to the Classic music. It will transcend all time. Timeless..

I know the Stones in and out, and nothing in this world could replace this song in my heart.
Thank you Charlie Watts for the countless rhythmic drumming you created together with your band mates.
Your beats lives with us for the rest of our lives, and till we meet again, may God makes you our drummer in Heaven.
RIP Sir.
This version is so beautiful that it makes me tear up every time I hear it. There is so much emotion in this version, Charlie, Mick , Keith and Ronnie seem so much in tune with each other and their own personal story with Wild Horses. Still not sure if my words caught my true feelings about this version
And Darryl Jones on bass.
You hit the nail bro perfect execution, just superb
Love this live version, Charlie, as always, just adds the perfect rolls when needed, and his sound and beat can never be replaced. I wish his wife and daughter, and granddaughter, all the best and I know that the first Holliday will be tough, but just get on the internet, and see how many people love your Charlie as well, almost as though we knew him personally, and I promise, that will bring smiles to your faces.
Amen, brother...
We miss you Charlie!
Loving Charlie, and condolences to his loved ones.
Rest In Peace Charlie!
RIP Charlie Watts🙏
This always reminds me of a time when people believed in love. And love was the measure of being with someone. Times have changed.....
My parents were married 70 years. They seemed to fall more in love as the years passed. Amazing love, never called names or verbally argued in front of us.
I walked off on my own (Thinking I had it all figured out - this relationship thing/marriage!)
I hadn't seen that it took a lot to cooperate in this partnership. Patience, willingness to bend in compromising a decision in favor of partners' preference.
They sure have and not for the better.

God bless music is such an amazing phenomena!!..
Richards' autobiography is a truly inspirational read. In one chapter Richards talks of how he wrote this song. His first son, I think it is Marlon, wanted daddy Keith to play him a bedtime song just as Keith Richards was flying out the door to go on tour. This is the melody that came to him on guitar off the top of his head at his sons bedside. He admits the lyrics were later changed by him and Jagger, but a large part of it is how he first played and sang it to his young son.
Wow, that is so endearing..💖👍
I don’t remember that part…time for a reread.
What an endearing memory to bond a father and son together. I've not read his autobiography, but will add the book to my bucket list of reads. Thank you for sharing that..
