Hi, I have recently bought a Mevo Start for our church but I'm having great difficulty getting it set up for live streaming, particularly accessing CZcams via the RTMP server from our new Android 10 tablet. Mevo Help are not proving much use and their 36 hr time delay to the US between question and answer is very frustrating. Would it be possible to chat to somebody with similar set up in the UK. Thank you for this very useful demonstration. We're researching equipment for live streaming our church services and are seriously considering the Mevo. I just have one question . We want to show screen, altar and lectern only. Is the resolution good enough for the viewers to read text on the screen when zoomed in? Regards, Michael Coe (Christ Church, Brittany)
Hi Michael we had a bit of a problem with the lighting, as the Mevo automatically adjusts to ambient light, and the light from the screen seemed to make the mevo iris close down, making surroundings darker han intended, but there are settings in mevo to overcome that. @@michaelcoe3853 I use Mevo in our Parish using their Multistream to CZcams and Facebook in 1080p as well as the wireless mic functionality, it works quite well for us. We also use a wireless movable mount to move the camera. Feel free to message me as well.
We now have our Mevo and initial tests have produced excellent results. Our main concern was that the on-screen text might not be readable, but it's absolutely fine. We are now planning to live-stream our Easter Sunday service. Thanks for all the advice - it helped us to make the right decision after a long search for a good, but affordable, live-streaming set-up.
Can you explain how to setup external lapel mics? We have a receiver plugged into USB on laptop but we can't seem to get them working all the time with mevo. I think we're missing a step.
It's possible. You would need to look at using OBS and linking the mevo's via NDI. That then becomes quite technical and for that reason is outside the scope of this video which is aimed and simple ways of getting online
Hmm not really. I know the mevo has some kind of directional system that focuses on the nearest noise, but we now use it with the mevo mic turned off and use sound input from the church sound system, an output of which is fed to the ipad.
One thing that isn't mentioned here... This looks like it was shot and edited professionally...not with the Mevo cams? And I have to assume you've been using a professional lapel mic for this video? Not one of the Mevo camera mics? I don't see a mic on the presenter, although he may have had it under his sweater. Can you comment?
Hi there. Yes my son shot the video and edited it with his canon cam and video editor. We used to use a lead to plug the headphone output into the iphone input although now we use something called an irig2 IK Multimedia iRig 2 Mobile Guitar Interface, Blac

What camera did you use to record this video? Its quality seemed better than the Mevo's quality.
