- I met up with the chefs and cooks that work at Huisje James. We foraged wild food from the woods, met up with a butcher and gathered vegetables and herbs from the garden. I watched them cook up some INCREDIBLE food and tasted the magic they created!

I’ve been lucky to have travelled a lot - if anyone reads these comments having been inspired by Alex to travel, go do it!! Life’s short, the highlights of travelling are worth all arduous hours on the road and occasional hiccup.
Great job Alex, Ive really enjoyed dipping in and out of your travels. It makes me happy that youve met so many kind, generous, welcoming and hospitable people on your journey araound Europe. It also makes me a little sad that so many folks in the UK wanted us to break from that union and become a more backward looking nation. What a finale Alex! I started watching this one this morning whilst by the sea in our caravan holiday home and noticed yesterday all of the mushrooms on the field. I stopped the video and identified 3 types!!! None edible sadly but now I have a wee bug to start foraging! Just finished the last 10-15 mins on the deck overlooking the sea with a nice cold beer. It really has been quite the adventure. Thank you for sharing this with us Alex, may there be many more 🍻
