How To Change DeviceLevelList Value To Unlock Animations in HyperOS [NO PC/NO ROOT]

- Here’s a simple trick to modify deviceLevelList value without help of SetEdit, without PC and without root. Activate icon animations, folder blur etc on any low-end or mid-range Redmi or POCO device. Forget Set Edit, here’s the solution- no PC or root required.
A lot of MIUI/HyperOS users who own a mid-range or entry-level Redmi or POCO smartphones, gets disappointed to know that a lot of animations and blur effects do not work on their devices. One way to enable those animations and blur effects (as in app folders on homescreen and recents menu) is to modify deviceLevelList, which is done using SetEdit. But recently, with HyperOS+Android 14, the SetEdit app doesn’t work as expected. It shows “Unexpected failure: Your system software has rejected this edit”. And this is where this video comes to rescue. Watch till the end so you don’t miss any step!

the icon animation and folder blur worked on my Note 13 pro 4g hyper os. However, the blur in the control center did not work.
I’m aware with this issue. Seems like it only can be enabled with root privilege.

How to make hyperos animation open and close apps smoother ?
There’s an option for animation speed in launcher settings- relaxed, balanced and fast. Depending on your launcher version, it may or may not be present. In latter case, you’ll need setedit or brevent to make changes to that setting.
