@@MOTOFLIXGARAGE The THAR would not be legal to sell in the USA. It’s look and shape are to close to the Jeep CJ and Wrangler. This Roxor is redesigned to avoid that similarity and thus legal entanglement. The previous generation looked very much like the old Jeeps and they were sued for trademark infringement and lost. So we now have the Roxor looking like this one. It is still very similar to the THAR but does not use its independent front suspension and is not built to be a road going vehicle due to US safety and exhaust emissions regulations for on highway vehicles. The Roxor is targeted mostly towards the side by side Off road vehicle market. But since the redesign, has moved more towards the agricultural market.

If I had a Roxor, this is almost exactly how I would have mine. I really like the vents under the windshield, and I also like the doors. I reckon you could probably make some kind of deal with the fabricator of the doors and windshield to where customers could order a Roxor from your dealership with these aftermarket options yours has.

Mahindra should just export the last generation thar .... on which this Roxor is based to the US .... For a street legal version.... maybe something to do with the Jeep legal dispute.

I like what you have done to your Roxor. Your bumpers and windshield modifications look and work great. Who supplied you doors and windshield? And I think the idea of heated seats is a perfect enhancement for your Roxor. I would love to have one equipped very much like yours. But I would have to have windshield wipers and a defroster.
If you add the heater, it comes with the defroster, and there are now after market windshield wipers available! I got the doors from Diesel Freak, and I had a local body shop paint them. Really looking forward to getting the heating seats put in!
Here in India, Mahindra Bolero, Major, Invader and Armada shared the same powertrain. Bolero got AC and power windows though... Roxor is the derivative of MM540, a legendary off-road vehicle and Gypsy (Suzuki Jimmy's) rival.

there's a great review! You just wonder why it's not possible for a manufacturer based in North America to produce something like this. You have gone to the extent of retrofitting it with all of the things that would be desirable if it was sold here, so I suppose it's just the cost of labour producing the parts and manufacturing that is the issue?... I have to admit it's a very compelling little vehicle. I suppose as far as crash protection is concerned it would hardly be able to be produced as a North American vehicle - no side bars et cetera

Just design it like the old model Scorpio car next time if not exact also but more similar to it in order to look more modern sad to know that Mahindra had to bound under FCA for the front designs even they are licensed by Willys Automobile Company to produce their products they should have courage to fight like GM did for their Hummer grille design and win against the FCA for not them who licensed them but the Willys so the FCA don't have rights to claim the designs of the Willys Jeep or the CJs the Mahindra had permitted by the very original owners to produce them since the 1940s before the very late FCA start to produce their own products

I hope Mahindra starts exporting thar 4*4 to us so that the americans could feel the real macho in offroading. Also parts are cheap which will help them to roll up the mountains without worrying about damages... 🙃🙃🙃🙃

The turbo diesel is awesome, for sure.
To me these leave all other side by sides in the dust. No comparison.
... suppose that there are also the issues of whether you want a vehicle that is less harmful as far as emissions. I'm sure that little diesel would never pass North American emissions standards.

It used to have a good design, but Jeep sued them to change it and won. Mahindra used the classic Jeep front design for which they have license since decades, but now Jeep rue that decision and don't want to be challenged by it.
I like this design better than the “bent Jeep” thing they were doing a few years ago.
Mahindra is only offering 1500 Roxor units a year and that's nationwide
