    Super cool stuff. You could also run this through a power amp and straight into a cab if you want to.

      If you mean an acoustic guitar with a piezo pickup and making it sound more natural, I'll give the answer: impulse responses. I picked up some IRs from Worship Tutorials and they make my acoustic plugged in sound awesome. If you mean making a guitar with traditional pickups sound like an acoustic, I have the same question and hope they do it.

      total BS, just use logic! logic has a latency switch incase you have too many plugs hogging all your memory

  • @informationtechnologysymph461

    Why did you drop the live looping function? that was awesome! :(

  • @nirmalbarnabaskunder6941

    Very few people talk about how to use the midi foot controller with mainstage or any software and how it can be assigned. It would be great if you could have a video for midi mapping in a way it's simple to understand.

  • @stevofficialmusic

    I wanna run a guitar, midi keyboard, and mic simultaneously in a live show so I can utilize 3rd party plugins for guitar tones/fx, synth sounds with the midi keyboard, and use the Logic/MainStage FX for the the mic. I have a Scarlett 2i2 and the midi keyboard plugs in via USB. I know I could achieve this in Logic, but I’d prefer using MainStage if possible. Is that possible?

    You guys have anything for acoustic sims and electric in the same patch? I have the basic idea down - send the dry signal to two buses, put the pedalboard and amp for electric tones on one bus, put an acoustic IR and some verb/delay on the other, but I can't get the EQ right. Our church is down a bunch of musicians post-Covid so very often I need to do acoustic and electric rhythm in the same song, or even at the same time just to fill out the sound field. I can't find an acoustic sim in MainStage but I think if I could make it sound Piezo-ish before sending it into the IR plugin it would fix it. The routing isn't so hard it's just finding the right tone.

    i wonder if Sunday guitar could work with electric harps

  • @woodyoulove-reynaldguibone6890

    I really don't like it when you switch from one patch to another patch and the audio just abruptly cut off. Especially the timebase effects like delays. It should just fade out. Why nobody seems to care about the feature.

    This is driving me insane. I can't turn off my DI signal when using my guitar DI. Logic? No problem. As soon as I add an audio channel in MainStage I hear the DI and I can't get rid of it.Does anyone know what is going on here?

    • @thestagerocks
      @thestagerocks Před 3 lety +1

      @@danielcifuentes6570 Here's where I think I am with this now...you can not turn off input monitoring in MainStage. So, if you have an audio patch in MainStage it's on. The only thing you can do is mute it. So, when you turn off your sim MainStage still sends audio through. What got me was that I was still getting audio bleeding through if I had my sim on and output (of the sim) all the way down. So my new guess is that I am not hearing a blend of clean signal and sim signal other than whatever that bleed is. It's minimal enough, worse on Logic's own sims actually, that I've decided to ignore it. Thinking back it may have been Logic's own sims that led me to believe I couldn't kill the clean signal. Maybe their sims are just dookie. I don't care. I don't use them.

      @@thestagerocks Interesting 🤔 I dont know if using a DI box will help reduce ground noise or adding a noise reduction or noise gate. I am unsure how to add these on mainstage , but I know how to add noise reduction on logic . I am trying to run the Helix native plugin , but I just hate that noise that comes out haha

    • @thestagerocks
      @thestagerocks Před 3 lety

      @@danielcifuentes6570 For me it's not ground noise, its the actual clean signal coming through. I pretty much can't use a single coil with guitar plugins. If you are creative with EQ and gate you can get acceptable results but I wouldn't go beyond calling it acceptable. It's a balance between convenience and irritating noises.

    • @SundaySounds
      @SundaySounds  Před rokem +1

      Make sure that your audio interface is selected in Audio Preferences, and also the correct input is selected on the channel strip, those are the most common issues if you aren't getting signal from your guitar.
