Been playing a making lo for years never did I play an archer.
I sometimes play as a stealth archer. But honestly. I am a "rambler". I mostly like to scope out the situation first, and then go berserk. Berserk with weapon and armor or magic 😂

i've been using Scoped Bows for years. it's an amazing mod. there is also another amazing mod that i use for crossbows as well: Sight Mod SE. these mods paired with Crosshair-aligned Crossbows along with Shoot Straight, Faster Bow Draw, Increased Crossbow Reload Speed and Glowing Arrows V3 makes for an awesome bow playthrough. special mention to Dragonslayer Bows and Siege Arrows. it pairs nicely with Scoped bows as well.
I've never actually played a stealth archer, not even an archer in general. Always been more of a stealth dagger guy.
Stealth in this game is more like a exploit. Only for milk drinkers.
Mostly mage for me, or a warrior/archer huntsman, like i do use stealth and archery when i got a bow but never made a build around it, bows have always just been an opener to a fight to finish off in melee, i got one of those deleveled hardcore mod lists so range is really helpful
You are a true chad. My favourite stealth build is invisibility and daggers only, tf2 spy style.
I mean it takes effort not to become a stealth archer, so yeah it's one or the other or neither for me.
There's dozens of us! Dozens! I usually play a summoner.

I use Shad's Aura, which gives a certain sense of spiritual awareness to archery when going on stealth you can sense life between walls and environment
Just wanna say that u make the best Skyrim mod videos. Every other channel showcases mods that are either too well known or just not interesting to me. But almost all of ur videos have something that I add to my mod list. I know other ppl have said that ur just a copy of other channels, but ur not and u rly stand out as a unique and quality creator. 4:25 you talk about Bow Rapid COmbo V3 but the description in video still shows Dynamic bow animation
I highly recommend pairing True Directional Movement with Smooth Cam, no matter what build you’re on. They work together to make playing in 3rd person absolutely amazing without ruining the vanilla feel

He he, the bow animation I have Black Desert flash backs.
I play an Archer there and I love the animations in the game anyway. But the Archer feels awesome in BDO. So i have the Mod an i can say you need it.
I like to mix illusion in with any stealth build. It's great to sneak into a group of enemies, pop a fortify illusion potion and then set off the master level frenzy spell and watch my enemies tear each other apart. I can then mop up what's left afterward.

Never have I wanted a total combat overhaul before I watched those slick dodge animations. Time to spend another four days modding!
The bow animation in the first mod is based after the Korean archery style with it mimicking a thumb release.
I main arcane archer, don't really need stealth, TDM + Precision + Valhalla Combat + Bow Rapid Combo + Bow Charge Plus + Archery spells from Arcanum, plus Vokriinator using Lion's Arrow, some alchemy/smithing/enchanting.
Hircine would be jealous.

I remember my first playthrough as a stealth archer, like 7 years ago... I deactivated the cross hair and played only in 3rd person for the yikes... Good times...

To when u draw ur bow or cross bow from 3rd person
It auto sets u instant on 1rst person
When u release the arrow
It sets u back to 3rd person

Have any of you encountered this issue with True directional movement; where when you're creating distance from an enemy and then lock on, your character looks towards the target, but instead of keeping moving away, they move towards for a split second before stopping and then they start going backwards? It's pretty annoying and potentially deadly if that little direction change puts you in range of an attack. Basically you have to create distance, stop moving, and then lock on.
I just change my drawn weapon setting to vanilla and it solved the problem

I've done a stealth character once. Was one-handed, illusion, and restoration for main skills. Was pretty fun. Did try an archer once back on xbox. No stealth orc using nothing but a hunting bow until i got a crossbow then it was just that and heavy armor

it's a certain armor with some additional stuff from other mods on top. The goggles are sadly not from Nexus. But I can come back with a reply listing all the other stuff in a bit when I jump back on the pc.

My current build is on the nolvus mod list. Im basically just baldyr from god of war 4, and lemme tell ya, unarmed on nolvus is so freaking fun. Just boxing a dragon to death is hilariously entertaining
Not an archery fan, but this animation is insanely well made. Had to make a tough decision and ended up using the kingsglaive mco animation…I’m more into melee hehe

I’ve been playing Skyrim for maybe 7ish years and I’ve never played any stealth build. Always been a warrior type of man with a little bit of magic here and there
Just discovered Arrow Overhaul last month. Fantastic mod. Hoping he adds extinguishing arrows to take out light sources.
that's sounds like an incredible idea, especially if one pair it up with some mods overhauling stealth.
the sneak tools mod adds such arrow as well as rope arrow
@@boubouiv6239 ideally I'd rather he look at the system from Rain Extinguishes Fires. Then you could likely take out any light source.
It'd be nice for crossbows to get an overhaul as well
I literally never played stealth archer in my countless playthroughs of Skyrim, maybe it's finally time to give it a try. In my case I always end up defaulting to spellsword or 2H warrior

Its kinda fascinating how most of Skyrim youtubers (and in this case also the mod author) assume that people just play Skyrim in third person. You can see bow in first person, right, but there is no info on whether those animations work in first person, either here or on the mod page. Writing two sentences is easier than creating new animations for this game.

I personally prefer legendary edition over special so I'm not sure how many of these are compatible for me however, this video had awesome presentation I had to leave a like and comment. I can only imagine how long this video took. Excellent mod coverage they all look great and like they would enhance the archer experience.

@@johbowfor Some of the mods I like using from what I can tell haven't been ported over to Special Edition. In fairness these probably are older less popular mods but I really enjoy them. One such mod is Perk Up, an old perk overhaul mod. There are other mods beyond this one so this isn't the only mod I enjoy using. Another one I like is Realistic Armor, I'm not 100% sure there isn't a Skyrim Special Edition port for this mod but I haven't seen any links to ports or mention of a port on the mod page. So I am going with the assumption there isn't a special edition port for this mod.
@@berserkersam9118 Realistic Armor along with Nordwar's other armor replacers are available on SE. Perk Up has also been ported to SE under the name PerkUp Deluxe.

It’s one of the Witcher armor mods for SAM from Vectorplexus. Not sure exactly which one, but shouldn’t take to long to find it if you just search for Witcher.

I don't understand this.
In smithing, you need to be level 30 for elven and dwarven and level 50 for orcish.
Explain how elven has 16 damage arrows
dwarven has 14 damage
orcish has 12 damage
Both dwarven and orcish are in the heavy category. Also, I thought weapons and everything stat wise got better the higher your smithing skill.

I mean I want a ranger/archer follower that really useful
...looks like nobody understands where the inspiration is from... well let me tell you.. the Bow attacks in general are based of the BDO Ranger movesets with her dagger skills and not from anime while the kicks are from Maewha/Musa's Kicks and the Grapple bow attack is also from Maehwa/Musa's bow skills. I'm a BDO player so I would know where the inspiration is from. Also personally I dont use it .. cus why use it when you see it almost every day when playing Black Desert plus some of Smooth's animations don't really transition well with Verolevi's animations. Maehwa means plum blossom so technically they are called Plum Blossoms in the game and they are your bodyguards in Ancient Korean history in the Silla Kingdom of Korea, while the Musa means warrior but are heavily inspired the Hwarang Soldiers of Silla aka Flower Boys -as they are both attractive and deadly in war Musa is also a movie way back in 2007 ish great movie.
