@@MPH2210 yes, a computer runs more programs than the number of its cores/threads. But each program is run by a core, we do not have a program that is run by core A for a bit and than by core B. Also games use gpu threads more than cpu threads.
The only winners in 2021 are those who kept their old GPUs.

that's close to the clockspeeds of an Everest chip.
I mean I've joined team Ryzen, but yeah pretty much the reason I'm still sticking with Team Green for my GPUs is that DLSS is a huge performance hack in any game that supports it. Game changing. Raytracing I can take or leave at the moment, since no games are really flexing its abilities yet.

@KNAX_NO4H Actually. It doesn't. Apple products are horribly misleading when you realize how everything is built to be perfectly optimized for eachother when snapdragons are designed to fit a multitude of other phones. It's like comparing a console cpu to a cpu fitting hundreds of pcs. It's not the same. It's all worked with in house, and if you were to put that into a device that wasn't an apple product it would be massively worse.
Don't forget they use old parts and screens from manufacturers they consider competitors and act like they introduced something new to a market.

I love AMD, they keep intel prices down. It really sucks that most things work better on Intel. My friend could not even use his HP Reverb G2, because he was using an AMD system.

Thats a really strange comment. Basically everything works just as well on modern amd cpus as on intel cpus. There might be performance differences depending on what cpus you compare, but i dont understand why something that works on an intel cpu wouldnt wok on an amd cpu

I still have a Phenom II X4 :D Never had any real performance issues with my 955BE, altough I only played games on it :D I switched to a Phenom II X6, for almost free, it's not much of an upgrade, but at least it's a bit more efficient :D

First gaming PC I ever built, Phenom II x2 555 Black Edition, cost me 60$ new and unlocked to four cores and overclocked to 4.2 ghz on air with a hyper 212 cooler. AMD was the king of price to performance then, still is now... but prices are so inflated now

AMD has been great as an option for gaming, *for decades* . They just had a bit of a dip recently.

Intel is (was) better at single core tasks and gaming/streaming! Although have to wait for the 11th gen for overall results
AMD is better at multi core tasks and is great at hybrid (Editing and Gaming) PCs. And they have budget friendly cards that work great for gaming!
NVIDIA has cards is the overall better one, and gives the most amount of power for gaming and editing and other heavy tasks, although u have to give your kidney first, Lol!
So I would say all these brands are great, we shouldn't spread any hate or do any kind of fanboyism!

The Kaby Lake vs Ryzen 1000 was actually unfair. Intel's most powerful CPU in Kaby Lake was the Core i9-7980XE, not the i7-7920HQ.
