TIPS FOR BINDERS!!!! You always hear the "if it hurts take it off!" which is a YES, BUTTTTT if it is your first time (ONLY YOUR FIRST TIME) it is natural for it to ache a bit more than usual, take it slow in intervals (i was able to handle abt an hour at a time for the first week or so) :))) ily all!!!

Fold it up over your chest, and reach up and behind you, tugging on the shoulder blade area and shimmy that bad boy over your head. It's harf to explain but that's the easiest way for me to get it off without dislocating my shoulders like the other version does.

66 year old grandma type here. Again. I am getting such sweet love notes from so many of you for the first remark I made on this video. I love you all. What is hurting my heart is that I can sense the misunderstanding, rejection and even abandonment for some of you in your replies to me. I just don't know what is wrong with people. You must all be old souls. We have the toughest journeys but also when life is good, it is really good. A lot of it has to do with American culture and I think it is deteriorating beyond repair. There are many places where people are not this hateful and judgmental. But there are also places where the consequences for being different are far more horrific. I hope you understand that you are OK. You deserve to live the life that makes you happy. You don't have to be loyal to abusers. Get out there and explore the world, stick together and make this planet a better place. You are making my existence better! Thanks for all the sweet notes. You don't have to be a genius to be intelligent. Having an open heart, accepting others as they are, respecting others that are different than you, and keeping your mind open is absolutely intelligence. Hugs.

Sports bra's they are much more comfortable and they do make you a bit flat not as much as a binder would and do not work if you have big boobs
Loose shirts they arent as effective as binders or sports bras but if you dont have big boobs you should be fine
Layered clothing so this would be an alternative to loose clothing and a bit more effective do not wear this in the summer if you live in a hot place like arizona for your own safety if you have big boobs this may be the best one for you

I'mma tell y'all about my fellow NB friend Avery
When we first met I got a crush. But it sucked because I didn't know what I was crushing on. Their hair was short and white-blonde, they always wore overalls and the colors were like denim and yellow. Their voice was pretty neutral, and they were flatchested(7th grade, hadn't gone through puberty) and I had to listen for a solid MONTH for someone to say he or she. Mind you, I had no idea what NB was. They ended up rejecting me when I asked them out (Just got out of a relationship, needed time), but we still good close friends now.
When I told them that story, their mind was blown. They'd achieved true androgyny before they even knew they were NB.
    And I think that's beautiful.

It might help them understand why respecting pronouns are important.

    Okay funny story:
I was watching a video giving advice and tips for playing a non binary character in a video game.
I noticed at one point the person got their pronouns wrong, so I pointed that out in the comments.
Keep in mind that this is still going on.
Someone replied with something along the lines of “Dude, who cares?”
I proceeded to tell them that it made some people more comfortable, and I told them that if it’s an accident that they messed up the pronouns, it’s alright, as long as they fix their mistake and try to get it right.
They gave me a lecture about how it’s “Harder for people to use grammatically” and they proceeded to go on about how they were fine with people being open and supported when it comes to sexualities, but they thought it was hard for people to change their perspective of someone and use they/them pronouns.
I told them that “It just makes some people more comfortable”
Then pointed out the fact that they seemed to be using They/Them pronouns for the person they referred to, so everyone basically, and seemed to have no problem with doing so.
They have yet to reply to the message, but I wanna see their reaction so bad.

If you identify as a girl then you're a girl! You don't have to be girly or like your girl parts to be a girl, you are what you identify as and you are what you feel you are
I understand the feeling and I realize that it doesn't matter what you like, wear, etc. It's what you want, what you feel, what you identify as!

    • @biancaolfert1498
      @biancaolfert1498 Před 3 lety +3

Imo, you can dress/present pretty much the way you want regardless of whether or not you want to be identified as any particular label, if someone asks or something then it might be easier to explain if you were comfortable saying "oh well I'm non binary so I like being androgynous" but if you don't identify as such and its just that you feel more comfortable in those clothes then whatever feels best. If it were me, I wouldn't likely label myself non-binary if I still felt completely feminine in identity and perspective, but wearing andro. clothes doesn't make you less of a girl in itself.

Today's been a horrid day for me but the one thing that actually made it liveable was when I finally FINALLY came out as non-binary. I had been questioning for months and I finally decided I don't need a gender. I told my mom and my dad about it and now I'm so proud to be able to say "hello! My name is Finn, I use they/them pronouns and I live in an accepting household"
