    like a star in space,
    I'll fight for justice
    until the end!"
    This 1CC was e f f o r t, lol.
Grand Prix 2 is cool because it comes with every character from the original Muscle Grand Prix, with the addition of the Five Fated Princes, as well as Neptuneman and Big the Budo. There's also new costumes and stages!
Tokumori, the PS2 version, also has various balance adjustments compared to the arcade version, and makes the Hell Missionaries easily selectable without a code. There's also cool little other features such as a gallery mode which is unlocked by using specific move/character/costume/stage combinations during play, and the ability to play emulated versions of two older Kinnikuman games: the Famicom title "Kinnikuman: Muscle Tag Match", and the Famicom Disk System title "Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsusen". Unfortunately, there's no story mode unlike Grand Prix MAX.
Aesthetically, GP2 is a bit of a step up from the previous game, and the cut-in of Mayumi, Bibimba, Meat, Harabote, and those other two guys that shows up when you knock out an opponent with a Level 9 Special Move is pretty cool. It's also nice that you get all the characters and costumes, and that Zudadan! Kinnikuman plays when you recreate certain matchups from the Scramble for the Throne arc. If you want a comprehensive Kinnikuman fighting game, this is definitely a top contender! Interestingly, this game actually still gets play in Japan at Mikado~
I think the only thing I would've wanted want is another story mode, but what can you do?
In terms of 1CC-ing, this game was d e f i n i t e l y more effort than the original. I actually recorded the two Muscle Grand Prix playthroughs back-to-back (RIP my hand), and it felt like MGP2T had the smarter AI. That said, I think it's slightly better balanced considering how MGP1 mostly spikes at the end with that horrifically hard Goldman fight, while MGP2 steadily increases the difficulty during the run, and the Super Phoenix fight is annoying, but still easier to react to. ... that damage is some Rugal Bernstein level shenanigans though, sheeeeeesh.
That said, I lucked out and got a LOT of fun stuff to occur during the run, so I hope you enjoy the show~ I wish I could've recorded the intro and title screen like I usually do, but I had to do a few retakes because the last 2 stages can get pretty rough, lol!
Here's to 45 years of fun, fighting, and fast, cheap, and tasty gyuudon~
Played on PS2. 1 Million Power (Level 4) Difficulty.

Grand Prix MAX's story mode is probably the closest thing we'll ever get to a tokusatsu adaptation
