We are Airstream owners. We visited the Heritage Museum just before 4th of July weekend. Fantastic! The Wee Wind is truly history at its best. Thank you for displaying it at the heritage Museum. Airstreams are just the BEST!

That's really cool, great condition. I'm not an airstream owner yet but I like to see the stories and how they affected people's lives. 74 years old and that airstream a beauty.

I am the proud owner of a 1948 Trailwind (19'). Her full gut reveals a mod-restoration that will be my traveling photography studio! Can't wait to receive her and enjoy the experience of my 74 year old gem. Not sure what to name her....

In the 1980s my parents had a chance to buy a 1950s Airstream in original and incredible shape. It had a full-size bathroom. I still can’t believe they didn’t buy it!

what a nice Idea :) and what a nice trailer. It really shows there the things start, and what all have changed to today. If we see an 2022 Airstream, we can just say: this, in complain of the Beginning, is: really a 5 Star Hotel room :)

Im a 38 yo vet & always wanted an airstream. Especially a vintage one! I would settle for new because theyre easy to find. But they dont make them like they used to! Where could I find a pre 1970s preferred vintage. I might even take the wierd experimental 80s van!!!

I have about a '48 Curtiss-Wright 22' that looks alot like that with both ends rounded. I read that Wally Byam worked for Curtis Aircraft Co. before that time and got that company to make trailers on the side. It was just as well made as an Airstream.
