I gotta say, the Man in Cave situation seems more likely to be caused by one of IH's script writers, as he hasn't been a one man show for a while. And his subsequent videos have been better about citation and having a legal disclaimer. It seems like this is a case of "Lesson learned," even if he didn't come out and take his lashings from the Twitter mobs.
I think he's already moving forward, and already addressed the issue internally. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't address it publicly. It was months ago at this point, and bringing it back up will probably just stir up more online drama. I think it's in his best interest to just say nothing and press forward with better content.
I think he's taking the approach Hello Games did when fixing No Man's Sky. Anything he says will be taken in the worst possible light so it's probably best for him to say nothing. Besides, as you pointed out, him and his team have done a much better job at citing sources in subsequent videos so it isn't like he just never did anything to fix the problem. He just dealt with the problem internally rather than making a huge public scene out of it.

Honestly, if Hbomber reached out to IH, he'd probably give him the full deets of what actually happened and clear things up. But if that happens, people are probably still gonna hate on the writer, and that'll be even worse than what we've got going on.

The Internet Historian issue is pretty much a non issue.
1. It was resolved between IH and the article author before we even knew about it.
2. Even if 1 may be false and I am misunderstanding something, it was already in the territory of fair use.
3. Reaction channels basically re-upload entire videos from any content creator, wouldn't that basically count as the same "problem"? It wouldn't even just be plagiarism, it would just be a complete copy/paste with sugar on, even if you make discussions around what you are watching. Credit or not.

The first ten minutes of this video makes a big deal out of this plagiarism thing as if it'll ruin his image or something. I personally don't care, tbh. He's an entertainer, not a journalist. He was called out and he addressed it by editing his video. Sometime a "oh, my bad" and fixing the problem is better than attempting a CZcams apology.
No one owns history, so what was he supposed to do? Verb and adjective swap, shuffle the material while keeping the timeline accurate or paraphrase? I’m with you though I don’t really care, life has far bigger issues.
Regarding that H-Bomber guy video, I agree that Internet Historian plagiarized and should apologize for it. But on the other hand I'm not sure it's fair for H-Bomber to put him in the same camp as the other people he covered when his was a one-time offense. There was a pretty obvious bias against him in that video.

It's still a good video overall, though. I think H-Bomber just doesn't handle different political opinions very well. Man ragged on IH for "bashing SJW's" when literally an hour earlier, he was making jokes about Republicans killing black people

The other joke is in a video about an Antifa protestors who clobbered a guy with a bikelock. He gave the bikelock stats, one of which is 14/88 durability. 1488 is a Nazi thing, but people don't seem to get the joke of putting a Nazi joke on a weapon used by an avowed "Antifascist" who resorted to political violence.
He even shows two videos without any context to further smear him. (As well as just assuming to know IH’s reasons for having taking them down.)
One about a woman’s ridiculous telling of “Online Rape” in that game Habba Hotel (however you spell it.) and the other one being a compilation of Tucker Carlson’s guest constantly asking to answer his question (instead of just answering.)

Yeah, he was the least offender in the video yet the most criticized, his backhand potshots at his presumed political beliefs is what made it clear what his intentions were, the only drama from this whole thing was coming from hbomber, he didn't like IH so he took the opportunity to damage his reputation on his first fuck up, I actually was digging around since the first video went down, and from what I could gather he already resolved stuff privately several months before hbomber's video, I don't condone it if it happens but it would be really funny to see the same witch-hunting happen to the shitty breadtuber if someone from his bubble exposes the dirt under his carpet, because hbomber is definitely not the good guy he pretends to be
i read the article and the plagiarism claim is horseshit. he gave basic cliffnotes of the important stuff and transformed the fuck out of it. and now theyre trying to slander his name. how much does one have to alter a true story before it original? because from the looks of it, i guess this story about the man in the cave wasnt so important if they want it to become fantasy?

Are you sure you didn't watch the changed version of man in cave? because they did change the script (IH did) to the detriment of the video and story itself. The article was heavily quoted, and structure was followed almost word for word in many cases with no credit given.
I'm an IH fan, but you can't live in reality while being oblivious to the facts. I think IH is doing the no man's sky approach, creating a body of work with proper sources before addressing the issue so he has something to show for his changed and improved methods, so that people don't have anything else to complain about afterwards, and then adressing the plagiarism thing.
Reaction starts at 9:58, but I recommend watching the first ten minutes anyway if you're not familiar with the hot water Internet Historian is in, or if you want the Renegades take on the situation.

I am concerned about IH and the plagiarism accusations it looks like he took the information but I don’t know if the animation and editing would count as transformative, personally I think it would be enough but him taking down and uploading again was telling that it may not have been enough. However, hbomber undercuts his points by slandering IHs audience and then mudslinging over any criticism and trolling and reacting while supporting and elbow rubbing with Hassan so it puts everything into suspect with the whole situation.

Tannin is not solely an aspect of grapes/wine/vinegar. It's prevalent in many berries and fruits that are full of antioxidants, which is denoted by them having deep/rich/dark red or blue, purple or outright black coloring. Cranberries, blueberries, many types of plums, and also especially so persimmons, are very rich in tannin. Tannin is the primary ingredient used in production of tanned leather (hence the word) and it's one of the most important ingredients which ancient civilizations used for the mummification procedures during funerals of royalty/elite. It has very dry and astringent effect on taste buds when consumed, but that same effect is what's having very strong antiseptic and antibacterial capabilities, which allows to make high quality/strong/very durable leathers and do long-lasting mummification wrap. Separate comment to address something people on the IH hate train will probably mention: Cost of Concordia.
There are 2 lines within Cost of Concordia that are verbatim from an article on the incident, in a 40 minute video. It's on the Korean couple in their room, and when the captain talked to the chaplain. And said article was even shown on screen at one point. It does not seem to actually constitute plagiarism, not in the way Man in Cave was.
...I want you to look at the video and type out the words IH use and the sentences HBg highlights.
They aren't even close to similar sentences. They aren't even summaries of the paragraphs. The weight of the rock aren't even the same as the article.
The issue is, that you'd need the original video and go through the entire video, which a lot have done for Blair. What HBg hinges his entire proof that what he did was wrong was a copyright claim. Which CZcams is notorious for being correct

2 day delay on newly released videos should honestly be a mainstay for react channels, but its more of a courtesy and people really overreacted over it last time. IMO as long as the video is properly linked and credited in the beginning and end, the ads are watched. It's good enough for me.

No. I mean, yes, that's where the name comes from, but in this instance, I'm fairly certain he's referring to the screenplay.
It's about an affluent English linguist taking a poor cockney flower girl under his wing and training her to speak and act as a proper lady would, moulding her into his vision of an ideal person. If the premise sounds familiar, it's because it's the inspiration for the musical, _"My Fair Lady,"_ though with significantly darker undertones.
While the musical ends with Higgins and Eliza falling in love, the screenplay ends with Eliza choosing self determination over Higgins' obsessive and suffocation control of her. The author-approved film adaptation takes it a step further, with Eliza being so broken and dependent upon Higgins that she surrenders herself as his little societal puppet, to be manipulated and micromanaged as he would see fit.
I think IH's implication is that he wants us to be his Eliza, fit to be sculpted into his ideal, all while chipping away at our disgusting, vulgar _(ugh)_

That said, it's used improperly. We would be his little Galatea, not King Pygmalion. But I think that's the joke. In trying to sound fancy or profound, he sounds stupid. It's actually a good intellectual joke.
I'll be very honest, silence is a powerful weapon. It can extinguish drama. It's best for people to just think "innocent until proven guilty" before doing these things. Anyone who think the opposite on the Internet is just plain stupid in my honest opinion.
The whole hbomberguy thing is so divisive for me. On one hand I think IH should come clean and apologize if he did something bad as I believe its far more respectable to admit fault and apologize than simply hiding the truth. Some say it was because of another writer on his team but even then he should come clean, why would he hide it if it wasn't even his own fuck up?
On the other hand I'm not really a fan of hbomberguy and some say he's politically biased against IH because apparently IH is some right-wing neo-nazi loon or some shit? I've no idea where all that comes from but knowing hbomber is a hardcore leftist I wouldn't put it past him for being biased, he's not perfect either. I remember when he got mad at Mauler (a CZcamsr who is hated by the hardcore leftist-sphere) on Twitter years ago then got owned and deleted his tweet.

I don't think he should apologize at all. This issue was not with him and his public, but with him and the people responsible for the article. It was, by far, transformative content, as his comedic tone is not in the article. IH and these people entered in contact and made a deal of what needed to be changed in the video and that was done. They didn't have a problem after that.
The video was reuploaded and everyone knows that was because of copyright issues. There is no need to shout to the four corners of the world that they made a deal and this and that changed. Hb maliciously spread HIS version of what happened to taint IH image.
