I had a chance to play with a military surplus Humvee. They are defiantly interesting to say the least. #hummer #humvee #militarysurplus #heavyequipment
“The ride is terrible, it’s actually amazingly bad” cracked me up 😂 To be sure you would like the MRAP better if you like the humvee. I don’t know if the ride quality is any better but they sure look good and have more powerful engine options.
My 1165 has enough leg room because of the adjustable seat mount. I am 6ft. The civ versions I drove felt like it had no leg room. Think of how troops had to get in full gear. Lol
That was my thought exactly! How do you get out in full gear if you are 6 foot or more. I’d definitely have to look into a adjustable seat or different brackets if I was to purchase one.
Nice. I just got done rebuilding an m998. Thing is a blast off road.
That thing is rad
front is fiberglass.. body is aluminum. 4 man setup has sliding front seat for more room. a blast offroad!
I have a M1165....LOVE IT!
That’s awesome. I find myself wanting one now after playing with that one.
That is what I got. Gas was civ version only. 6.5 also came in a non turbo.

I’d love to try one! Lonie said in the video the ride sucks there’s no leg room or power but I still want it. Just to cool not to like
Its not a planetary, its a portal. It generates offset between the wheel center line and input axle center line.

Yes very cool-you would need to spend 30k+ for a vehicle of equal off-road capability
