The original quality photos is only for Google photos cloud storage. Saving the photos on local storage is still at OG resolution.

Right, but Apple does it for pricing options. But Pixel 4 is more expensive at 64GB and only have 128GB as the other option. It's just too expensive. The screen is too dark, videos sucks, not ultra wide angle camera, no fingerprint to swipe, no storage expansion option, no jack, only 2 cameras, poor battery life, horrible design... do you see the point?

The eyes closed feature can be disabled just by making it so you have to unlock it with a pin anyway, besides it isn't a con, and if your partner does not trust you, dont be with them. 64 gigs is totally fine, the most I've ever used is 50. Bestbuy has nothing to do with this, it has quick charge with wires AND it also has a wirless feature for EVEN FASTER charging if you are short on time. What's wrong with them both having a square camera? 4k is amazing and 30 frames is fine, ITS A PHONE NOT A RECORDING CAMERA. Maby they dont have alot of storage because they want to make AFFORDABLE PHONES WITH NORMAL PRICES YOU SHOULDNT WANT A PRO CAMERA THAT CAN HAVE 60 FPS IN 4K VIDEO.

Lol funny video. I got the 4 xl and enjoying it coming from the 3 xl, but the points you hit are true and I'm glad CZcamsrs are not letting Google get away with it. This phone could of been god like if it had a wide angle lens, better battery and brighter screen. I'm getting better battery life than my pixel 3 xl I'm averaging 5 hrs and 40 mins of SOT after 15 hours and ending at 2% basically before it dies which isn't terrible but when you factor in the battery life that other phones in this price range are getting then that's when it becomes a problem in my eyes so yeah Google should of executed these 3 items better. Other than that it's a great phone.
So I bought a Pixel 4 I've had it for 10 days, I'm coming from a Pixel 3XL. I can honestly say that it was a delight using my Pixel 4, I really wanted a smaller device this time around and everything on it worked amazing with only two problems.
One a not so major problem was the selfie camera, when using it I noticed that pictures weren't as sharp and colors were off. I tested my Pixel 3XL and pictures were super sharp and colors were more accurate. Not sure if the missing lens is what is doing this or maybe it's something that can be fixed with software. Not a huge deal but annoying.
Now the major problem and I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. The BATTERY ! I still can not wrap my head around why in the world Google would put a 2800 milliamp battery in this new device, for God sake the 3a has a 3000 milliamp battery ! When I bought it I was hoping that the software would not make the small battery and issue but it didn't ! I would get an average of 3 hrs of on screen time and this is with dark mode enabled, always on display off, WiFi and Bluetooth scanning off and lastly turning off WiFi and Bluetooth when not in use.
I absolutely loved my Pixel 4, it worked great with no problems and I loved the smaller size that for oh so comfortable in my hand. But the battery was horrible and yes I could probably plug it in to charge when possible, but having battery anxiety is not so great. This phone with taxes almost cost $900, with the horrible battery life I just couldn't justify the purchase, so as of today I have requested for a return slip from Google (which was a horrible experience, they have really gone down on customer service) it took almost 5-6 hours and like 7 different representatives and two supervisors to finally process my return. I am really sad to send back my device but again the most horrible decision made was to put the tiny battery in this awesome device. Hope Google gets it right next year.
