About as heated as an Ice Cream.
I had it wide. Fury showboating confused many. As a brit It would have been a disgrace if Fury got a draw or win. Congratulations to Usyk fans.
If that was was the case wouldn't fury of loss a lot worse Dec?? You guys won't even admit fury was doing well early and winning rounds how wierd
Hearns fault for bringing the little money laundering foreign dosser into the division to promote the Ukraine
Why wide? Fury was winning so easy till round 8 with the broken nose
@@ps5andstuffhereWatch without the commentary and don't let the showboating fool you
@@MAT-wn5fr your acting like the early rounds usyk clearly won when at the very least they were close enough 2 give 2 either.. again clearly bias
Hearn's scorecards are always the weird. Far away from truth.
He needs to hype fury for the AJ fight.
Fury was showboating way too much It was unnecessarily risky and before he got caught he looked comfortable in the ring. Congratulations to Usyk He remained composed, patient And deserved the victory. I'm really looking forward to the rematch 😁
That was it...he was on a roll on the middle rounds , even from 3 to 7 or 8, and then got too relaxed thinking he could coast! That was the big mistake. It's funny how so many people just miss that totally.
Wasnt he getting busted up in the nose in the 8th
@@antoniomatthews4459people already forgetting how the fight went. I agree 8 round wasn't furys
Part of his game. Two functions: playing to the gallery, and a means of slowing the pace Usyk was forcing upon him.
Usyk is special.
As I was watching the fight on TV I thought the judges scorecards were right 7 to 5 rounds deserved win to Usyk. But should have been unanimous decision not split
Today I shall mostly be drinking and watching the 9th round on a loop 😂
It was glorious! Can’t wait to see the official photos Fury went cross eyed at one point, so much for ‘Fury will just lay on Usyk’
Where is John Sontaran warrior Fury ?
When he had his nose splattered, Fury pulled that face when you're given a sweet and when you put it in your mouth it's one of them sour ones.
russ is a legend of boxing trainers i used to watch his training videos years ago he really knows boxing. Much respect🥊
Get this man an interview with John Fury 😂
russ is an honest man, with a front row seat
RUSS IS A GOOD SOLID HONEST CANADIAN
Yes he is , that guy should be a judge !
@@celerysalt6761nah he’s a complete knobhead by the looks of it

Happy New Year!
You're supposed to rule it a knockdown when a fighter's saved by the ropes.
Hearns fault for bringing the little money laundering foreign dosser into the division to promote the Ukraine
You're clearly new to boxing.
What do you think the standing 8 count was for?
@@danielgardecki1046 this was a response to the video, obviously I know enough by stating that in the first place, think twice before you go about abusing people.
fury should have been counted down the first time and then made to continue. Instead he got knocked over and held up 3x by the ropes.
the ref obviously wanted to give fury a chance since its a very big fight and moment but did the ref hurt fury by allowing fury to survive 3 knockdowns? smart move would be to take the count and recover instead of getting hit some more
That judge who gave it to fury should be investigated
Turkis right hand man
Not really. I had Usyk winning but there were a few close rounds and Fury won five minimum.
No not at all. There were a lot of close rounds. Fury dominated the mid rounds as well.
@@chriswilliamson7694😂 Fury lost 7 rounds minimum and was almost stopped if not for the bell in one of them the decision is unanimous no honest judge could possibly give the fight to Fury he was outclassed
Or have a round with Usyk
I'm a Brit and I know Usyk won. Hearn's just starting his marketing for a re-match.
Why would Hearn want a rematch when he doesn't promote either fighter and it holds up Fury vs Joshua?
Only reason usyk won is because of the knockdown without that the fight is a clear draw. That was a boxing match. Foreal!!!
Rematch clause is in the contract. Whatever hearns says is meaningless.
@@Gooniessss he'll have his fingers in pies. they're all pissing in the same pot.
Yep most British people like me had it way in favour of Usyk. And deservedly so.
I thought Eddie was right , usyk clearly won the fight , but I had fury slightly up in the mid stages , then usyk took over
Exactly. I had Fury up by 4 pts by round 6. Then Usyk took over and claimed the victory by 2 pts including the knockdown point he didn’t get.
@@terro3842 yeah I’m a neutral , thought fury was on his way to a win in those middle rounds , but now with hindsight ,I think all of the talk about how fighting usyk drains your tank was there to see ,
When usyk stepped up the pace fury couldn’t go with him , everyone is talking about the ninth round but I think the 8th round was the turning point , that round was the momentum shift and fury started to look buggered and hurt .
After the Usyk win, a reporter asks Fury, "What's next for the Gypsy King?"
Fury, adjusting his crown: "Well, I gotta find a new nickname. Maybe the 'Morecambe Maze' - you get in, but you never quite find your way out." 🤣
Hes a cut man for a reason
There no way Fury was up after 4 rounds mate....he didn't land a shot in R1 😂
Usyk won. That's all that matters. Everyone else's opinion is now irrelevant, regardless of their profession.
@Weasel_1.1 narh 2-2 going in to the 5th
@ripperrouge5985 yea I could see 2-2 after 4 yea but no way Fury up
@@Weasel_1.1 think it 1-3 usyk but admit 3rd is subjective.
Russ Abner knows his boxing 🥊
Well said Russ Abner! Hearn and Warren are suddenly like brothers now they're both sniffing tha Saudi cash.
I had it wide . I thought it was 3-3 after 6 rounds. Comfortably Usyk after 22.
Ref stopped Usyk's momentum by giving him rest befoe he could even touch the canvas.
The only negative of frank and Eddie collaborating is that Eddie has got no sting to his comments now.
In the back of his mind he doesn’t want to upset frank or his excellency so he stays firmly on the fence and is too careful what he says.
I actually agree with Hearns scoring.
The casuals must have been scoring show boating as landed punches to even have this fight close. Fury won no more than 4 rounds.
Heated ? You mean very respectful
Fury was easily up after 6. Anyone saying different is just an Usyk fangirl. 1-18 1-10 is ridiculous.
Only reason usyk won that fight is the knockdown. Without the knockdown I had it a draw. Fury dominated the first half usyk came back the end half. Top notch fighters best boxing match I've seen in like 10 years or more. Foreal. Tryin to think of one better I can't
@@moneygramz5887 Christ you cannot be watching much boxing if that was the best you have seen in 10 years.
Correction there not usyk fangirl there number 1 fury haters but who pretended to be on board when he was on top or even worse there simps that jump on the depression storyline bandwagon 😂
oh look we got a collection of idiots who know nothing
I will have to watch again but Fury was dominating him after the first couple of patty cakes rounds. I think he won one of the later ones as well.
Usyk by 2 rounds sounds right to me
more like 4 or 5
@@wassim9763 no way was it 4-5 rounds more for Usyk, Usyk was getting owned in the first 6 rounds. If it wasn't for round 9's drama, Fury would have won on points.

Eddie Hearn is a 🤡
Eddie really no sorry your wrong you must have been distracted for the first six rounds
First 6 rounds were level
But the real question is…. Why did Fury say Happy New Year in his post fight speech 😂
Final month of the islamic calendar year
Usyk won the first three. No way did Fury have any lead. Fury even got the ref on his side in Round 9 to got off the TKO hook when the ref gave him a standing 8 count. Usyk was and is pure class!
Usyk definitely didn't win the first 3. Fury was by far the better boxer in the first 6, Usyk maybe won 1 round in the first 6
I had it 10-9 9-10 10-9 9-10 after 4, then fury took the lead, then Usyk came back and won the last 4. 115-112
@@simonthewatchguy6073 give over he did nothing in first 3. it was 1-3 usyk, 4-8 fury 9-11 usyk and 12 is w.e
@@MrBrasserie Bryan Graham and the judges basically gave round 1 to Usyk and rounds 2+3 to Fury. Up until round 6, Fury was dominating. After round 6 it started to fall apart for Fury.
I had Usyk by wide points win .... Landed punches win rounds ... Fury just simply didn't land enough
Usyk was brilliant
If fury did what Usyk did then id understand the " it was close " but no ... Far too many forgetting what scores rounds and wins rounds ... Punches landed
They do this so that these crazy and clearly corrupt scorecards that keep getting into these close fights are not so visible.
I had it level after 8 and then Usyk every round including the 10-8.
I heard Furys corner kept telling him "2 rounds til undisputed", "1 round til undisputed" so they were clearly telling him he was winning, hence the showboating
Showboating in such a close fight???
Get no points for it so don't do it
He still lost
More punches and less showboating was needed
If there is a rematch it's another 50-50
Usyk properly nailed him in R9
Even my mum was shouting Hit him again! 🤪
Sadly, many are fooled by it. Take the idiotic decision by one of the judges, for example!
At the end of the day it was a split decision
Cutman vs john fury lol
not heated at all
I totally agree. I said it live to mates that Fury is not catching Usyk with scoring punches.
Russ is absolutely correct a lot of Fury's punches mostly missed or were blocked or were slapping shots which shouldn't be scored
Fury doesn’t deserve a rematch after dodging usyk for so long
What is this cut man on about
Not sure why the curman thinks a standing count isnt fair lol..i had usk winning 7 rounds to 5..had tyson winning on points prior to the first bell. Massive congratulations to usk and team! 🍀👏👏👏
The ref should have either started the standing count earlier or let it go like he did but only intervene when the stoppage came, jumping in when he did just saved fury.
@@PPCRWN yeah but can't say he saved fury..he was trying to stay up on his feet..not been dropped prior to that..as soon as them ropes saved him he gave him the count. If fury had got dropped and got up like this..and the ref stopped it within a few seconds of him been how he were I get it..but he was wobbled as feck as we saw prior to any knockdown. I totally get your arguement for a standing count even before that mind..I bell certainly did save fury tho..he recovered and finished so in that regard fair play. I'm gutted he lost in the heat of the thought of the fight..but the right man got the belts in my opinion.
@@patrickcoyle682 ok if I can't say fury was saved by the ref then let me ask you this, if the ref didnt give him the standing count when he did and let fight continue would of usyk finished him in all likelihood, be honest? And the ref didn't give a standing count as soon as the ropes saved fury, the ropes were saving fury before the ref intervened, fury was all over the shop for a long period in that 9th round.
@@PPCRWN no I didn't say that at all mate..I get where your coming from and if there was more time in that round I believe Tyson would of got stopped. What am saying is I see a argument for and against a stoppage..trust me I'm very open and honest..yes he could of gave Tyson a standing count before he did..but at the same time I also see why he let it go as long as it did...due to not having actually been dropped with a knockdown prior and it been a big figjt and fury never been like that in his life on the world stage. Yeah we seen fury get dropped by wilder..but never like that..legs were gone.. probably didn't even know where he was for a brief moment.
Hearn just started promoting AJ vs Fury fight it’s obviously. He just have to praise Fury to make the fight he wants…
Seems like Fury was able to con Eddie into think he was doing well.
Where was papa chencko?
Russ is the man knows his stuff!! Great cutman and coach! Usyk is the Undisputed King he's up there with the all time greats; Ali, Foreman, Dempsey, Holmes, Evander, Tyson, Lewis, Lennox etc,.
Had it 3-3 after 6
First 8 rounds were close really. Last 4 Uzyk turned up the pressure and tempo and deserved the win.
Agreed with Russ!!!!!
Hearn was watching a completely different fight. I watched a fight where Usyk bossed the fight and made Fury go back to New Years day🤣👊
I cannot believe Eddie saying Fury was 4/2 up after 6... Totally agree with this cut man...I really do think Eddie is now a bit scared of upsetting Warren....That was a clear victory by Usyk 8/4....
lol we must have been watching different fights then. Usyk was missing all of his shots in the first 6 rounds, and barely won a clean round.
3-1 usyk after 4
Agree with Hearn, Fury lost 1&2 then won 3 through to 7
nope i seen it that way
Eddie, the commentators and pundits who all had Fury winning 4-2 after 6 rounds are incorrect...
Fury was clearly winning 5-1 after 6 rounds.
He didn’t touch usyk 😂😂 usyk face busted up and suspected broken jaw lol
I’m surprised *BRUTALLY HONEST* wasn’t in the title. This channel will have a gambling sponsor soon.
I don't get why people think Fury won the first 3 rounds
Fury was 1/7 on in play up to the 6th round i think eddie was spot on
Eddie's round cards would always have his man as the winner even he was knocked out in the first round. What a wanker
I thought fury won 8 rounds
good one bro :) next time dont drink when you are trying to score the fight.
I'm with russ I'm confused about fury success in the first half
I had it 7 to 5 also, Fury had great rounds too.
Eddie eddie eddie…
Usyk cut man was a little biased. The fight was Usyk early - Fury mid - Usyk took over the fight. It was a unanimous decision. It could have easily been a knockout or TKO
I don’t understand how anyone can say fury only won a few rounds. Literally just hate fury if you think he doesn’t win 5 rounds at least.
Had it 3-3 after 6, then only gave fury the 12th. 8-4 Usyk for me.
Eddie is correct, the little man is as biased as biased can be. It ended 114 Usyk to 113 Fury on my estimations and one of the referees too, so according to this little dude it would have had Usyk winning by a landslide which is just not what happened. Round 9 basically cost Fury the fight with an 8 scored.
I thought the stats I saw on screen during the live broadcast were way off wack. I felt Fury was having more joy with landing his punches than what he was credited for. Sure enough, the Compubox stats showed Fury was largely landing more in the first half of the fight. Idk how the stats were formulated during the live broadcast but they were largely skewed in Usyk's favour IMO and presented a misleading picture for the early rounds.
Usyk still comfortably won though. I agree that 9th round should have been called a KO. I saw Fury's eyes go as soon as he received that punch and thought that was it. The only reason Fury didn't take a knee IMO was a loss of awareness. In that case, the ref needs to stop it for the boxer's welfare.
Fury did box beautifully when he looked to assert more control, but Usyk had more gas in the tank than he let on, he got more aggressive, and that punch changed everything.
That has to be the best heavyweight fight since before Klitschko's dominance. Technically superb and super entertaining too. I do hope there is a rematch and I still think Fury is capable of beating Usyk, but he needs to find another gear
I think the ref should have stopped it when he jumped in, Tyson was gone and Usyk was still working on him,
I had fury winning 7 rounds there.
The cut man is right . Fight actually was easy win for Usyk wasn’t close at all if we’re actually counting punches that land which is what you do when scoring fights right ? Lol
Put Tyson and Aj on the undercard of usyk and opetaia 😂😂😂
Fury tried to show boat his way to victory
It was 3-0 to Usyk after first 3 rounds
Completely agree with this guy. Fury wasn’t landing in the first 6 rounds at all. It was an Usyk masterclass throughout
Did you actually watch the fight ? First three rounds he landed fuck all but 4-6 he was boxing well
I had it 115-113 like eddie thought usyk won first 2 then fury took over won the next 5 or so then usyk stepped it up gotta say any other referee would of stopped the fight when fury got hurt fair play to both men
Usyk had the first 3 rounds, then tyson won 4. Usyk took the rest (round 11 could’ve went either way maybe)
The commentators were so biased omg you Brit’s need to get a grip
I predicted usyk to school
Fury so I was actually surprised how good fury looked for a lot of that fight, I didn’t think he still had that, the right man won for sure though
First 3 rounds to Usyk, then next 4 rounds I gave to Fury, and all other rounds go to Usyk 116 - 111
Remember they said he is weak to the body.
Eddie wanted Fury to win so that he could set up Aj vs Fury now Usyk is undisputed and already beat joshua twice
Eddie is right this guy is blind maybe he had a cut in his eye
IMO aggression, going forward, should be seen just as important as the number of punches landed. Judged by aggression and going forward Usyk won nearly every round.
Fury stood under the ropes the entire fight... and at the end he declared that he had won?... if you want to win, you need to fight and not stand near the ropes... And if you were afraid to move away from the ropes because Usyk would immediately start to go around you and hit you from the side, then there is no need to cry
Good job Russ. Hearn never knows anything about boxing 😂 The smaller man was trying to bring the fight to the bigger man. The bigger man abandoned his jab and stopped feinting because he was being suffocated and couldn’t think under real effective pressure
Hearn is accurate
Fury definitely masked it well how hurt he really was... Usyk hit that nose so hard in the second..it threw fury off big time..he had some good rounds, but i believe he masked it throughout the whole fight..and usyk just had much better moments... clear win in my eyes..
I like both and salute Usyk he deserved it. But i thought usyk won the first 2 rds then tyson winning up unto the 9th. Where usyk won the 9th to the 12th. Giving both 6 rds and usyk having the knockdown. Setting him up for the win.
Turning point was 8th round punch to nose. Fury was visibly affected by that for awhile
Too much inactivity for Fury. Having a fight a year doesn't suit him. He looked old in the ring, despite being the younger man. No real snap in his punches. Didn't use his jab. Tried to use the left to set up the right but how would a fighter as good as Usyk fall for that one? Didn't use his weight advantage, didn't use his reach advantage really and with all his experience, didn't cope with the broken nose. What did they do in training? Karaoke? I think a prime 1966 Ali would have obliterated them both.
Ed keeping it real tbh
Like most brits i was delighted to see usyk win
Referee is a Wally
Usyk is the Brit Basher
I had it 10-2 or 9-3. My mate had it 10-4. I had usyk in the clear
Russ is totally correct the first 3-4 we’re deffo usyk
Fury was winning the fight up until the 7th round .. it looked like fury gonna win .. but than he got comfortable thinking he’s gonna win .. than the 7th round came and usyk turned on the hit 7th 8th than the 9th round were dominated by usyk .. those were the rounds where fury lost he got comfortable and than bang usyk turned up the hit .. much respect to usyk he is the man right now ..
I had it a draw if the knockdown didn't happen.
Eddie you’re wrong, Usyk first four, Fury second four, then the 10-8 then the championship rounds I’d say Usyk won two of those. Do the maths. 7 rounds to 5 Usyk plus the knockdown where Fury should have been stopped. 115-112. Eddie’s argument that Fury should have been allowed that because it was a championship fight is rediculous. What he’s saying is the rules are different in title fights 🤦♂️ absolute bollox.
This guy seems cool
Reminds me of Paul heymen
Fury stood under the ropes the entire fight... and at the end he declared that he had won?... if you want to win you need to fight and not stand near the ropes
cut man was right
There’s no way Fury won the first 2 rounds. 3 was close, so let’s call it even, just to be fair. Fury dominated between 4-6, or so, I’d say. Can’t remember 7th. Let’s give it to Fury. 2:28 8th was turning point when Usyk landed hard punch to nose. 9th-no question. 10 and 11, Fury was still stunned. 12, call even, like 3, just to be more than fair to Fury’s crying. Comes out to 6 to 4, with 2 even rounds. One round was a 2-pointer for Usyk, (even with Ref constantly protecting Fury, Without stopping the fight). Comes out to a 3-point win for Usyk.
