  • Roaring River State Park Hatchery | The Most Unique Natural Spring Fed Hatchery I Have Ever Seen!
    Today I am exploring Roaring River State Park's hatchery. This area has served this region of Missouri as a mill and now a spring fed hatchery in the outcroppings of the mountains. It is beautiful and one of the most unique places I have been.

      I just hope through my videos everyone can take away something unique and different. Be it knowledge or an encouragement to try new things and stop and see the free and simple as well as the big and bold

    I have never and would have never given a hatchery a second thought before finding your channel but I enjoy all of your different hatchery videos and this one was amazing!! Such beautiful scenery!! I would love to go there some day!

      @@BunnyPlaysHere I knew a hatchery was a place that raised fish but until an earlier tour you did I didn’t even know it was somewhere that the public could go.

    Another great and informative video. Those CCC dudes really did a lot of things all around America, and a good job at it, for it is all still standing and in use today. Love the History that so many know nothing about. Be Blessed!

      They really did so much and the more that you travel around the country the more that you see just how much they really did do which is pretty impressive

    Roaring River Fish Hatchery is in the most beautiful setting as any hatchery I have visited. Definitely worth the drive if you're in the Branson / NW Arkansas area.

      I find places like this to be historic but also interesting to share because they have so many awesome brain wrinkles

    I love fish hatcheries. I need to find a catfish hatchery. To see them as babies then at full grown is cool.

    I love my Missouri! I spent the summer camping along 60 highway. Next year I am going to try and go to Roaring River. I camped mostly in Missouri Conservation areas for free. One of my favorites was off of 65 Highway and on a tributary of the Niangua River. Mule Shoe Conservation area. (On my way back to base) Laid in the small rapids everyday! My body felt so good! I have chronic pain. Thanks for taking us with you! Luv ya, love your channel❣️ 🏞️🏕️🥾♨️🎣

    That’s cool. That would be fun place to visit and check out. The water is so very clean and those are some luck fish. A lot of work goes into that place.
    Fishing here in Colorado - rainbow trout. Yum also. I would fish with my folks as a kid….Dad had to bait the hook with a worm and also clean the fish. But I enjoyed Moms cooking them over the camp fire. Good memories.
    Did you use a drone to film some of this?? Great shots.

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Nope didn’t use a drone on this one. Actually I have a new camera and I am just starting to get it out a little bit more and play with it. This will allow me to get those drone like shots and areas that I’m not allowed to drone in so that I’m not breaking any rules.

    Thanks for this video. I love fishing, catching, cooking, and eating. I have been to many hatcheries but this one look wonderful. I see you did a few drone shots. Do you have a license? Is it hard to get a license? I know there is a very small drone out there ( Hoverair) and the company says you don't need license because it is so small. But then I saw a report that the FAA says if one is using it for commercial use including a CZcams channel one needs a license.

      Actually, I didn’t use a drone at all. There are lots of ways that you can get these kinds of shots without a drone. I personally have started using my 360 camera a lot with a large telescoping pole that basically disappears. It’s kind of an expensive set up to get started with, but now that I’m using it frequently and made it all worth it, especially in areas that you are not allowed to drone

    • @SheFromCLE
      @SheFromCLE Před 7 měsíci +1

      @craftytraveler9238 No lie, I was thinking the same about the drone. Thanks for asking the question. I was at a state park yesterday and thinking about a great drone shot and thought "wait, didn't Bunny say we can't take a drone in a state park?!?".

    • @BunnyPlaysHere
      @BunnyPlaysHere  Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@SheFromCLE Different state parks have different regulations. You always have to check for signage or pamphlets which have the rules. Many state parks are okay with it but others not so much. National Parks are all no fly zones!
