We recently had been to an amazing, worth-visiting, comprehensive organic farm.
Our purpose was to know what real organic milk is and how it is produced and distributed.
However, once we entered, it was like a organic continent! Right from food, beverages, snacks, tender coconut water, trainings and seminars till the end of 2nd day end, each visitor has ample amount of learnings, experience and knowledge gain. it was not just a visit for us, it was a glory, it was once-in-life-time experience.
This farm is of 23 acres, 300 plus staff members, well equipped, well maintained and green heaven. This organic farm has become a centre for Vegetable Garden, cow-hut, bio-gas plants, fodder and grass unit, well-trained veterinary doctors, technicians, 1000 plus plants (fruits and non-fruit bearing), visitors etc. Akshayakalpa Organic milk and milk products are so pure and equally tasty. These products are certified as per the guidelines set by APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Product Export Development Authority) and by Jaivik Bharat.
If somebody loves farming or wants to learn more about organic agriculture and farming, Akshayakalpa welcomes from the bottom of the heart. For existing customers of Akshayakalpa products, there is a free training session conducted for 2 days with free food and accommodation. It includes theoretical and practical trainings and seminars by industry experts. For non-customers, they charge Rs.1000 for 2 days which includes food and accommodation along with all the trainings and seminars. You also have bullock cart or ox cart ride inside the farm for about 2-3 kilometers. Wide tent houses are well arranged with utmost hygiene facilities for each family or each group.
Each activity is assigned to designated individuals. We can see that idea of young people being trained to take up agriculture/farming as a vocation of choice was transformed into idea of rural entrepreneurship model under Akshayakalpa. They train and monitor farmers for 12-18 months on organic farming, ensuring healthy production practices.
