Teammates brings back so much memories
I was happy to be able to support him when he started for the US in the Grenada friendly. It was the day that it was announced he'd signed with Celtic, and I brought my Hoops jersey to the match. He played very well that evening. I'm a bit disappointed, though, that he didn't some around after the match like his teammates so that I could get it autographed.
Maybe next time big man,guy is a bit quiet and keeps to himself but he’s definitely well mannered and a baller of a player 💪🏻🍀
@@RiceyBhoy89 During the US-Grenada match, on injury stoppages and hydration breaks, he did keep to himself, instead of huddling up with teammates. I was wondering whether or not that's normal for him, or a sign of not fitting in with the US squad.
The Grenada match was played in Austin, Texas. I live in Louisiana (and watched his dad play for Louisiana State University as a kid), so I made the 6 hour drive to watch. That's about as close as the US ever comes to playing a match near me. So, I don't know if I'll get another chance to watch him play in person.

@@celticdaft1084 There could be something in that. But, he did participate in US youth camps with some of the same players. And he was called into the senior camp before, again with the same player pool. It had been a while, and some of the player pool has changed; so, maybe it was unfamiliarity.
Along with the fact that he didn't make the victory trip around the stadium, I got the feeling that he wasn't integrating too well into the squad. I hope it isn't a sign that he's not in Coach Gregg Berhalter's Qatar plans.
