taking algebra ll sophomore year and the teacher thinks all of us are just able to catch up with him how he goes through math sitting at his desk doing it all himself. plus i don’t even have my glasses or contacts so i can’t even see what he’s doing 🤩 we have a test next week so wish me luck
This was very very helpful to me. I was having trouble with radicals in a practice SHSAT textbook and I looked up videos on radical. This came up and I decided to check it out. It helped me so much! What could have taken me 30 minutes to 45 to figure out instead took me 10 minutes and I finished 12 questions with confidence because I actually understood what I was doing. This also gave me the basic knowledge that my teachers haven't given me. I recommend this video to anyone having trouble with simplifying radical expressions.
This video is LITERALLY the BEST video on the internet for aid in the simplification of radical expressions!! I'm totally acing this quiz tomorrow!! Thank you!!!
For those who didn't get it Example: √126 First do prime factorisation 2 |126 3 | 63 3 | 21 7 * Now √126=2•3•3•7 = 2•3²•7 (Take the squared digits outside) = 3²√2•7 √126 = 3√14 (Hope you get it 🙂)
OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GAD I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LEARN THIS FOR AGES!!! We learned this in class the exact days I was out sick. I've tried going in to have my teacher explain, I've even had 4 different friends attempt to tutor me, but I just couldn't understand!!! I've been putting off a quiz for weeks, and now I'm finally prepared for it!! Thank you!!!
Faby TV what do you mean by shut down school. like they actually closed it or you had to do it online cause if it closed I jelly cause I got to go online sadly
aw man never mind so the viper of online school has struck again sadly. Well all that we can do is hope and pray that the pandemic ends soon so that we can go back to normal school cause to me it seem easier am I right or wrong
I came to turkey a few months ago and they did this in year 5, i've been trying to learn the basics cause in year 11 they're teaching us university level maths. This rlly helped, thanks.
The way I figured it out is by taking 3675 and dividing it by 5 as a start. I did this because I know that dividing 3675 by 5 will result in a whole integer. 3675 / 5 = 735... 735 can be further divided 735 / 5 = 147... 147 can be divided 147 / 3 = 49... 49 can be divided again 49 / 7 = 7... 7 can be divided once more 7 / 7 = 1... and this is where we stop So now we take all of the numbers that were used in breaking 3675 into 1, so that is 5, 5, 3, 7, 7. Now that the pieces are together, we can simplify the √3675 into √5*5*3*7*7
+Tamerlane glad i'm not the only one thought this was confusing! Been doing radicals in class since last week and this is prob one of the hardest Algebra lesson I've done.

Yea but how the fuck do I get the base sq root to (3*5*5*7*7)?
by factoring
Anthony Rand how do you figure out the factors that quickly
my same problem how do you get these numbers to 3675 / 300 how ??????
The way I figured it out is by taking 3675 and dividing it by 5 as a start. I did this because I know that dividing 3675 by 5 will result in a whole integer.
3675 / 5 = 735... 735 can be further divided
735 / 5 = 147... 147 can be divided
147 / 3 = 49... 49 can be divided again
49 / 7 = 7... 7 can be divided once more
7 / 7 = 1... and this is where we stop
So now we take all of the numbers that were used in breaking 3675 into 1, so that is 5, 5, 3, 7, 7.
Now that the pieces are together, we can simplify the √3675 into √5*5*3*7*7

Hello Jason: For an explanation on how to factor numbers like 3675, watch Why U Lecture 10 "Factoring": czcams.com/video/Tr9FZUhfJR4/video.html .
If you were to make a factor tree on 3675 and only circled the prime numbers , you’d get those.
