Black on black with the light color wood grain steering wheel and dash and yes it has the AMG package bumpers exhaust and wheels And I can't believe that every single thing works in this car AC blows cold heated and cool seats rear shades work everything works I can't believe it... After all this time not one electrical problem
mine is 4 matic to...mine has 148k miles with records im going to have my trans rebuilt tho it shifts fine but the closer u get to 200k with these u can get slight bearing noise on one of the 4 wheel drive gears in the trans mission.. 1500 not bad

Mine, with 96k miles was about half the price you quote this year. And it has full MB service history! Expensive to run, so calling it a "bargain" is debatable but I certainly don't want any other car now.
For 2013 MB decreased the engine displacement from 5.5L to 4.6L. However MB added twin turbos to the new 4.6L engine. The 2013 S-550 has: 429hp 516torque
@jjchargerboy16 That's because the driver's door is open with the key in the ignition. It's a safety feature so when you open the door to get out, it tells you that you forgot the key. As soon as he takes the key out, it stops.

Well, I actually had the fortune of sitting behind the wheel of a 2008 Mercedes S550 and starting it up. It is such a nice car. Probably the most expensive car I have ever sat in.
The sound is only because the keys is inside the hole, otherwise will Not sound like that when the door opens. Nice car i might get one like this this year
2007 from to 2013 was the best good looking Mercedes S550 of all time till next year later 2014 they made it totally different witch we all don't like TBH.
btw you missed a cool little part of this car, when you open up the rear center console, in the seat back is a little secret compartment where the fridge would be. When you open it up, you can just see the handle at 2:32. I've got an s550, check my video of my garage
I just rode in a 08 S550! Cruising on the highway and all u hear is very gentle tire noise. No wind noise WHATSOEVER! you feel like you are being isolated from the outside!
looking for opinions..I know I want an S class but I cant decide between this (07 s550 4matic) or the previous generation (2003-06 s500 4matic) Money is an issue and the 07 is alot more, but is it worth saving for an extra year or two to afford it?
@airnomicsair In black or charcoal trim the interior looks a bit plain. But see it in tan or cream coloured trim and it looks very elegant. The Lexus would probably win me over for ease of use when it comes to the controls.
@AspireAS5920 Nah, they do. Even the small compact european cars offer what S class had 10 years ago. And even things that NEW S class has, lots of cars have (like pedestrian detection, pre-crash system, line detection, automatic lights/wipers/long beam, seat massage etc).

@refresh967 I went to the Mercedes Benz dealership yesterday and checked out the S550. I disagree with you. Firstly the S550 has 80's style gauges. Its analog which is garbage compared to the LS460's Optitron gauges. Second off the leather is not even close to the leather in the LS460. In terms of the front legroom the LS460 has 43.7 inches vs 41.9 on the S550. Also please dont call it an Avalon. Avalon is not even close (made in USA vs Japan for the LS460). We can call the S550 a Chrysler.

I found 2007 s class s500 for 30k zero miles and I found a 2007 C class for 20k zero miles, besides the price which is a better choice ?
S 500.... More spacious, more options and more luxurious. both are great cars though.
