Charlize, you made that movie. Mad Max wasn't the lead character, kind of funny, but it was great. I'm glade you were involved in this movie.

Tom Hardy was very good as Max but Charlize was the real star of this awesome movie.
After watching Fury road. I gotta say there's no lead role. Granted people could say it was Hardy or Thereon. But you would be forgetting Nux the fleeing concubines and everyone else. Me personally thr best character is Nux. The head strong barbarian who redeems himself in the end, hell the whole trib like antagonist was awesome. Take Maori tribes men and mix in some Norse mythology and you get some of the most bat shit people to grace the silver screen.

Watched the movie again, my god the final race scene, forgot how insanely intense it was and charlize so good in it ❤ when you look at her carreer the range is actually crazy, top actor 👍

Was Furiosa invented for the movie or did she exist before?
Invented for this movie but Miller has said she was loosely inspired by the unnamed warrior woman from The Road Warrior (second Mad Max film).
Below all that hair it's still her.
They did a great job on the movie, both of them. Charlize's character is a little extra though.
LoL over the last 9 years Charlize really shown how toxic she is, I'm glad she got replaced in Furiosa and avoid anything with CT in it in general.

wawaH20 If that's true that makes their acting/chemistry on screen all the more impressive tbh (and I don't mean romantic/sexual chemistry but just the feeling of camaraderie(sp?) between them)
wawaH20 Not hate each other. They said it was hard and that made them testy.
Director said she was very professional and disciplined and he wasn't.
8am call time and she'd be there on time and would end up sitting in the war rig in full make up in the baking sun for 3hrs waiting for Hardy to show up. That when he was there they couldn't get him out of his trailer. That she snapped and cussed him out for being disrespectful and unprofessional.
I'd hate him too. Especially if I was the film studio. Those delays cost money. You're paying all that crew to stand around and wait for him to show up, permits for days filming. Even if your not filming.
