Thank god he won a masters, totally deserved it after all the struggles in his career. One of the only players that could trouble the big 3, epic matches. Olympic Medals, Davis Cup, 250, 500, Masters and a Slam. One of the greats

@@wdsa7129 I don't know if that much, but I can think in 1-2 more GS titles considering that he played 2 finals and won 1 of them. I don't have any trouble picturing him playing 3-4 finals more in a normal career. Also, in the time he managed to play, disputed a couple of semifinals. Certainly Delpo could have been a serious opponent to the big 3 if his body endured better the tour.

Federer is very talented, proof of that is to get 20 grand slam's with that unfortunate mentality, he is certainly the player who lost the most game won in history, and still has several records.
He sinned a lot because he was afraid of Djokovic, always in important moments holding his arm, unlike Wawrinka.

Federer was somehow on edge all match long especially with the umpire Fergus Murphy who, imo, actually did a good job as always really. Kind of weird to see this from Federer at that time when he was basically ruling tennis along with Rafa

Fed's biggest mental blocks despite having superior talent: 1) Nadal (for most of this career, except 2017 onwards), 2) Djokovic (from 2011 onwards), 3) DelPo (2009 onwards)

3:31 Yeah, that was not right. He won the set though, so it wasn't too much of a problem I guess.
That's the first time I've ever seen bad decision making by Roger on match point. Maybe that record of Jimmy Connors did get a little bit into his head, because he knows it is definitely in range for him.

Hilarious by Fed at 6:00 wanted to make a fool out of delpo with a drop shot and didn't even bother or prepare to contest a possible return by him. All he had to do was hit it to the left with a bit of force and he would win the point or at least with the next shot with a volley if delpo mange to return it. Simply Typical federer who wants to be stylish instead of just taking the most logical shot
