In my community, we started having a theory that if you are really intentionally focused on the hundo or shiny, you’re not going to get it it will come when you least expect it and that’s the craziest thing. You basically have to tone down your excitement.
I dont raid nearly as much as the youtubers but I havent gotten a hundo from a raid sine 2022. And I raid pretty frequently, over go fest did near 100 that whole week, and when primal kyogre and groudon and shadow mewtwo came out again I did probably close to 70
I hear what your saying. I did 102 raids before I got the ✨ Necrozma. Then I see videos where people are getting back to back ✨ under 20 raids. Oh and did I mention I went to Go Fest Madrid and did over 80 Necrozma raids and no ✨. I understand it should be challenging however how are the numbers so drastically different. I mean it’s not even close. I don’t get it 🤷♂️
Broski don't think too much about it - when you get 3 hundos within 30 raids you don't question it. It's literally probability and luck. Everything will balance out overall when you do a huge number of raids - you'll see your hundo chance will gravitate towards 1/216 chance (huge number could be 100k or a million you don't know).
When Necrozma dropped in Japan I managed to get 2 remote raids in, first was a 98, second was the hundo. After global dropped I went ham on raids/remotes over 250+ best I got was a shiny 98, no more hundos and maybe 6 shinys. RnG games can be good and bad sometimes... I will say having over 500 done and not a hundo must be frustrating as you say
29:31 facts Billy, I’ve inferred that just we as players have certain Pokémon that for whatever reasons gravitate towards us and certain Pokémon we have to raid harder
For me, it’s all about xl Candy goals. Once I hit that, I make a plan. If I got a 98% with 15 attack, maybe a I do a few lucky shiny trades and see what I get. If not, I am more than happy to power up a 98%. At the end of the day the hundo is more of a flex than an actual advantage. Most of us are not competing in the top tier of the master league and really the “power” of these game breaking pokemon are the pokemon themselves. At level 50 they are beyond anything that is available. I did 250+ necrozma raids during this pokemon go fest and got four 98%. I have enough xl Candy and fusion energy to power up 6 Necrozmas. I will end up powering two 98% and two 96% shiny Necrozmas. I will still have enough fusion for the hundos when I get them but I will take advantage of the Necrozma in both forms and what impact they will have on my account and game play.
I definitely understand the frustration with the rading in this game. Take a few days off from rading because next weekend is Mega Lucario raid day and that is going to be epic. Congrats on getting that PHD Pikachu. That looks super sick. I'm 52 wins away. lol
I got 2 hundo Necrozma first day of city experience in Sendai. 1100 raids later I get a 3rd hundo on Global and next day 4th hundo at around 1300. I’m used to having long gaps between hundos.
I feel the same. I feel like they have some kind of live data that tells them how hard your going for something. Every time I try for something it doesn't happen. When I don't care I'll get great iv shinies. Idk tho lol
There’s no such thing as a hundo lock. It’s just something that happens. Welcome to the challenges us pokemon go non CZcamsrs face daily, and throughout all pokemon go. It’s never a guarantee, it’s always simply a chance.
I can’t agree with that. GoFest felt like a 2 part Raid Day. Niantic can change the odds of anything, whenever they want. & considering the amount of raids my community did together (a couple hundred people) and everybody was fighting for even decent IVs, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. They are a company, not a person. Company’s should never be trusted. When a lot of people are of the same opinion on something, there’s more often than not, something to it.
Been playing for 4 years, and I had never caught a hundo Legendary until my 32nd Necrozma raid. The trade off seemed to be not getting a single shiny. I know it's supposed to be RNG, but sometimes things do feel off with bad shiny and IV luck.
Dialga was hundo locked for me, I got 6 Palkia hundos in 30 raids, but Dialga took 709 remote raids *before the price increase and remote limit* So i feel your frustration.
Craziest thing from my gofest, back2back hundo xurkitrees…into a shundo xurkitree. Damn near shat myself & have never had that luck ever. Then continued to go 250 raids until a hundo Necrozma 😅
It’s always been rng bro the numbers don’t really matter but it’s always random gamer luck never worry about it trust me I did that a long time ago and it’ll help your health in the long run
Fantastic video as always Billy keep up the amazing work and content for everyone to see and enjoy. Im not sure about hundo lock for certain accounts but believe the rate for hundos in each account is very different and for what pokemon they get. For instance my luck for a hundo necrozma might be in the 1/400 raids and yours might be in the 1/800 but that's my insight on what I noticed in the 8 years of playing
250 raids 1 hundo. Its a huge feels bad when you don’t get one in the in person. Hey should IV boost in person or even ticket holders but that’s a slippery slope
There is no true 'randomness' in computer based RNG, and bad RNG generators is a thing, ones that have a tendancy to lean towards unintended patterns or trends. I have long expected that PoGo either uses a poor RNG generator, or intentionally skews the numbers based off individual accounts. If they see that an account is WILLING to drop tons of money on passes and incubators, it turns down the likelihood of hundos or shinys, since that person has shown they will grind for them. Pure speculation and we will never know, but Bad RNG is a thing in computer programming.
So i always wondered and a genuine question, if there is altered rng based on account status wouldn't that be discoverable by all the people who mine the game's code?
I am a spoofer. I have 20 accounts. During the mega rayquaza raids, i couldnt get a single shiny UNTIL i logged the accounts on a different phone. They are for sure tracking devices now. My guess is the more activity a device has, the more prone it is to get bans/softbans or worse shiny odds, ect. Just be careful not to switch devices too often because that increases chance of getting banned. So, what i do now is i log my accounts out the night before a special event / raid day. And in the morning, log in my accounts on an alternate device and use that device to play on the whole day
i started playing pokémon again in june of 2022 and did like 25 remote raids for mewtwo with 2 hundos and a 98% shiny. necrozma i do 185 raids and no hundo and only one 98%. my brother just started playing and he got a hundo necrozma in 20 raids. it’s all rng i believe but when it’s things like that i wonder if they do make it more difficult for hard core players that spend money so we keep on spending more money for that hundo and make it easier for newer players so that they start to believe they can get hundos real easy until they can’t anymore. i don’t really believe it 100% to be true cause i think that has to be illegal in some way but it sucks🤣 garentee a hundo after a certain amount of raid’s niantic 🙏🏼🙏🏼💀
😂 I went so hard on these and ended up the another hundo Ghost clown after it’s raid day was long pass and a Necrozma after 320 raids. RNG is a real (B)witch when it’s really cause you can get a hundo first 0:05 and one ya 1569 raid still no hundo for the hundo you really want. Oh and no shiny for the Electric tree after 100+ raids 💀
“CZcamsr luck” is only because they can spend as much money as they need to to chase rare Pokemon, in reality they spend 5-10x as much as even an experienced player. So don’t be discouraged!!
So expensive Necrozma fusion energies. 1000 fusion energies for each Necrozma fusion but we obtain about 100 fusion energies every raid win. This situation will give a BAD MINDSET to players about Ultra Necrozma in future make debut in Pokemon Go. If Niantic plans as same way with Necrozma fusion, 1000 ultra energies + (maybe) 60 Necrozma candies but we obtain about 100 ultra energies for each time Ultra Necrozma raid wins. So players raid about 10++ to achieve minimum amount of ultra energies in order to evolve Necrozma to Ultra Necrozma. This is all money greedy game plan by Niantic. 😡🤬🖕
Denying the fact that you had bad RNG and making an excuse of accounts being *hundo locked* is hilarious. Your mindset is exactly what you said; You're expecting to have good results, and then moaning after when you don't get your own way. Unfortunately that's the way life rolls, and it happens to everyone. Your luck was just simply bad - that's it. Every single person goes through good and bad luck. While I believe the UB and Necrozma raid shiny odds were pretty rough, if you're spending hundreds on raid passes and not getting anything out of it, then you're basically gambling at this point and that's on you or anyone else who spends excess money on what has become a heavy monetized game. If anything, this should be a wake up call for all "influencers" to raise the issues with the game; but I doubt that'll happen anytime soon.
Happy billy didn’t get a Hundo Nec :) now I can go to sleep knowing not all content creators are boosted …only fleece….took me 630 raids to get Hundo nec 730 for 2nd Hundo …regular player odds 🥱
