A lot of people are saying Cubecraft copied the Hive - but then again Hive stole the idea from Hypixel, and Hypixel stole the idea from Cubecraft back in 2017... But I do understand why people are mad at the timing. It reminds me of about 6 months ago when Cubecraft released the Backrooms bundle, then like 3 days later hive released Backrooms stuff too, in short both servers are known for "Sharing" ideas

As much as people hate cubecraft bedwars so far, you have to remember it’s in beta games for a reason, that’s why it’s only teams of 4 and 5 maps. It will get updated soon probably and will be much better.

I think they pulled out Skywars and block wars pretty well. also I think cubecraft is more user-friendly because I play on switch and its not laggy for me, but it is on hive

I think some people are ignorant of the fact that this game mode is in beta section along with the pillar of fortunes, yeah that experience might not be great for you but it’s in beta version, it will be improved like hive bed-wars

cubecraft bedwars is trash because you can accidentally click on the generator and get stunned and on top of that, you have bad teammate and the enemy is overpowered
In my opinion at least it is better than Hive bedwars.

Instead of generating hate towards CubeCraft, this is something positive for the servers, attracting more users and generating more variety, it is a beta game that will not remain in this state.
I'm glad that Hive is launching its version of Bedwars, and his new RPG server, it's something really positive, let's leave the hate behind, 2024 seems like it will be a good year for Bedrock servers.
This is not positive for servers lmao. The fact that CubeCraft is already gaining a ton of traction from their half-baked version of BedWars is showing server devs that they don't need to make an effort to come up with original and unique ideas to become successful. This is instead inspiring more servers to do the same as them by implementing half-baked, unoriginal content and killing off any potential for unique and innovative servers to thrive.

I feel like people keep saying CC is copying hive when in history everybody’s copied of eachother. Eggwars was the first ‘bedwars’ type game, and from that bedwars and treasure wars came from that. I’d also like to know cubecraft did an MMO before hive which is still asked to come back today which they are not do to lag. Hive is being forced to make a new server for the MMO to avoid the lag which costs lots of money. But I will say cubecraft and bedwars was just stupid and they should remove it
EggWars was not the first BedWars-based game. GommeHD had BedWars before they did, and before that, a game called 'Rush' was made as an 8v8 mode.
@@LightKnight2311 GommeHD made the first bedwars, Eggwars came slightly before it (it is close tho) the misconception is made a lot as technically GonmeHD made the first bedwars, and when researching to fact check this I came across nothing called rush or now nothing called rush, could you provide a video or link so I can see?

CC should remove BedWars from their server. There's no point of them adding it other than to jab at Hive when they already have a much better version (EggWars). Anyone defending the release of this game needs to rethink their choice of doing so.

@@clasherknife14 BedWars on CC has nothing going for it at all. Item prices are unbalanced, the map layouts feel like they've been copy/pasted, and the game is so reptitive. Not to mention the awful fireball physics and the fact that they are easier to get than armor. The fact that you put this on the same pedestal as EggWars shows that you have no common sense. Play minigames that are actually good, and then come back with an opinion.

It sucks to see CubeCraft going in this direction. I thought they were starting to cook with Pillars of Fortune, but then they come out with this. When Pillars of Fortune was released, despite it being a game that could be coded in 10 minutes, it was actually fun. The new modes and maps made it less fun though, but it was a cool idea nonetheless. But then, they drop a version of BedWars that very clearly feels like it was made in like 2 days. Its extremely disappointing knowing that this is the kind of stuff they're putting out now. Its seriously embarrassing that they actually had the audacity to make this.
Edit: Also found out that Pillars of Fortune wasn't even their idea either, and they just banked off of the success of CheapPickle. Its clear what their intentions are now, and its sad to see. Any respect I had for the server is now gone.

All you're doing by defending this update is showing server devs that all they need to do to be successful in the Bedrock server space is make a half-baked version of an already popular game, call it a day, and then people will eat it up. @@clasherknife14 We don't know the full extent of what Hive BedWars is going to be like. It isn't exactly fair to judge it until we actually get to play it for ourselves. If Hive BedWars ends up being just as unoriginal and half-baked as this, then I absolutely won't defend it. But for now, we need to just wait and see. But tbh I'll be surprised if Hive BedWars is actually worse than this.

I thought it was good. I mean I feel cubecraft is trying to do their best at keeping their games fresh, but then again, their not copying hive. Hive also copies from them. Their both taking ideas from each other. I would love to see where bedwars lands in the future, but cubecraft isn't copying hive, their both doing it. and then their both trying to compete against hypixel. So don't send to much hate for bedwars, as its genuinely new, and its in beta games for a reason. because cubecraft knows they can make it better. so don't jump to conclusions, because its new, its in testing, and you never know where it'll go.
