rover is one of the best interviewers I know, look at some of his other videos to see more examples. This is why I watch him everyday. He asks questions other people are afraid to ask and he does it in a respectful way. He also gives feedback to the answers the guest gives and tells stories that relate to it. He doesn't just read off questions like other shows
I grew up watching Hulk in Wwf, not watching wrestling anymore but have respect, and im happy that wwf and hulk were part of my childhood. Seems like he is most real of all of them and Bret Hitman.
@Danfeng Xiang wrong..hogan NEVER possessed the traps, quads and hamstrings that Ferrigno did just for starters..you're going by height..I could elaborate more but not going to argue with someone that can't "see" the obvious
The only reason TNA does better than the WWE in the UK is because people don't have to pay the extra money to get the channel it is on. Challenge is a default channel to most TV deals, whilst Sky Sports is paid for on top of the standard packages. If WWE was "free" like TNA is (outside of paying for the box, etc.) then they would be wiping the floor with TNA. It's not about "who's better" it is down to availability, nothing else.
his stories change all the time I ve heard him say how he got the name hulk decades ago he said he met the actor who played the incredible hulk on a set and had a arm wrestle with him beat him then they started calling him hulk , ,you just don't know whats real and what is a load of shit with this guy
I'm not a wrestling buff, but I would believe this answer. Any answer he gave before his character was retired is gonna serve to boost the legend. Sounds like he just sensationalized the same story to make it more intimidating.
@@detroitforever5352 it's not just that, it's also the gay attitude and disrespectful questions, which Hulk just absorbs for some reason. What tolerance.
Did Hogan just try to sell that he actually was 6'7 and due to years of the leg drop of doom that he shrank to 6'4 and the host DIDN'T call him out on it?
I was 6ft1 at 22 had a major back opp at 23 (got a disk removed as I burst it in military training). Now I'm 6ft. Lost an inch in height so I can believe him.
alross1212 Definititely possible. I went from 5'10'' to 5'8'' in a matter of 10 years. Shit happens , it's mainly spinal but knees can have a little effect as well.
+davidlboynton A lot of bone and joint surgeries involve shaving down on the ends of bones. Between various vertebra, knees, and hips a total of 2 1/2 inches is not a number that doesn't seem real in a man who's height was a massive 79 inches. ALL of his weight bearing cartilage has also been subject to massive levels of deterioration from physical decades of physical abuse. Height loss is actually common in everyone who manages to make it to old age.
its true. 100%. a full 1/3rd of your spinal column height is soft tissue, and after using the legdrop as a finisher move and landing on his tailbone for 35 years, and having 9 back surgeries , two hip surgeries, and 2 knee surgeries, losing 3 inches in height totally plausible and very likely. Hulk in his 20's was an absolute Monster of a man, 330 + lbs at times, and 6'7". Lou Ferrigno in his prime was 6'5", and Hogan has pictures with him during the early 80's, and he easily has 2 inches on Lou
Hulk Hogan shits excellence, he was the guy who got me to take my vitamins. He could sell his shit in a can and people would buy it. The masses would stand in line for the unwrapping of his shit in a can. Hulk your the man make you money boo boo and give an elbow drop to the world when you're not busy.
If Rover likes someone, he'll usually softball them. Jenna McCarthy is a prime example, he never blasted her about her vaccine stuff, at least that I can recall.
Beeing a wrestling fan for soon 20 years i know a thing or two, Andre the giant was actually at his shortest in wrestlemania 3. He was somewhere around 6'11 there. And Hulk Hogan was a solid 6'7 at least in wrestling boots. Imagine beeing Andre, and pushing 600lb. He did not get taller from that. He was around 7'3 in his prime
its from spinal compression. after 35 years of doing the leg drop, nine back surgeries and 2 hip surgries, your spine shortens. when the space under your rib cage shrinks, and yoru spine shortens over time, it pushes your internal organs outward. he probalby has an abdominal hernia that was repaired

Equally Impressed
Such a Proffesional Interview
He does remind me of stern in his interviewing technique.
Nice mix at the end
I grew up watching Hulk in Wwf, not watching wrestling anymore but have respect, and im happy that wwf and hulk were part of my childhood. Seems like he is most real of all of them and Bret Hitman.
Luv ya hulk,,your the best...Watch ya on the tube for years
I've never heard hogan talk for extended periods of time, now I have and he says brother a lot! I thought it was just a little catch phrase!
hulk is the greatest of all time, can you dig it..
Stabesy Dude Rover isn't a dick at all. He is a good interviewer, he is the #1 talk show in Cleveland. Everyone here loves him.
downfan1 He's not a dick yet he said the passenger, who Hogan was close to, was "turned into a vegetable".
Never understood how people got so into wrestling. Some of my friends had parties when they had the big payperview events.
hulk hogan RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! send me back
Hulk rules!
It must be so hard for him to stay in the shape that he likes to be in
Rover couldn't even stand up lol
HAPPY 64TH BIRTHDAY HULK HOGAN !!!!
This guy interviews like stern. Thats a complement.
It’s compliment. And this guys a fucking idiot. And he sounds like he’s 60, but he’s only 35
No this guy is HORRIBLE...He also NEVER lets Hogan finish a sentence
Hogan was never bigger than Ferrigno
@Danfeng Xiang don't think so
@Danfeng Xiang wrong..hogan NEVER possessed the traps, quads and hamstrings that Ferrigno did just for starters..you're going by height..I could elaborate more but not going to argue with someone that can't "see" the obvious
This guys bringin up old shit
He is a really cool man. But that really did upset him big time and would upset anyone 23 years over. He is a legend and always will be.
Heaven nor Hell by Volbeat at the beginning. Hell yeah!
Lmao rover doesnt even get up to shake his hand haha
I'm not understanding what is funny about that loser
Gotta love hulk hogan
MDCKilla not anymore
0:14 - Dieter looks a bit star struck
rover is the man

I figured it was just a "stipulation"
"I'm a pretty good bluffer" hmmmm.... 1:56
click on the arsenio hall show he said he never took steroids!
hogan seems like a really sad guy.....you can see it in his eyes
Its because he is riddled with guilt.
I wouldn't mind a real life movie of him as the system did the RAY CHARLES "RAY" movie🙏🏿🙄😏
his stories change all the time I ve heard him say how he got the name hulk decades ago he said he met the actor who played the incredible hulk on a set and had a arm wrestle with him beat him then they started calling him hulk , ,you just don't know whats real and what is a load of shit with this guy

Jjjuu
The song at the beginning is "Heaven Nor Hell" by Volbeat, in case anyone's wondering
You mean a leg drop. Hogan had the big boot and legdrop.....Savage had the elbow drop off the top rope.
rover can't even get up to give Hogan a shake of hand😐
Yeah, I noticed that as well. WTF!?

he did lose height, 8 back surgeries crushed his spine his back is seriously messed up he nearly ended up in a wheel chair
I was 6ft1 at 22 had a major back opp at 23 (got a disk removed as I burst it in military training). Now I'm 6ft. Lost an inch in height so I can believe him.

BRODDAH!

Hulk is funny. So full of excuses lol
Dave Schultz slapped John Stossel
Looks like Hogan gained some weight, but I supposed having 12 back surgeries and both hips and knees replaced will do that.
If Rover likes someone, he'll usually softball them. Jenna McCarthy is a prime example, he never blasted her about her vaccine stuff, at least that I can recall.
Rover couldn't be bothered to stand up to shake the Legends hand.
rover started talking about other radio shows and hulk changed the topic fast.. I think rover took that as a sign not to go there.
iMPACT beats RAW and Smackdown in the ratings overseas. He got that right!
Hogan claims here 6ft1 woow then the rock is 6ft
this makes andre the giant 6ft5?
No hogan said 6'4 and a half, he used to be 6'8 lol I'm 6'1 in real life I can tell hogan is taller than that
MDCKilla he says 6ft1 and half see it again
andre violet He clearly said 6'4.5" and that he used to be 6'7". You need to clean your ears out.
Beeing a wrestling fan for soon 20 years i know a thing or two, Andre the giant was actually at his shortest in wrestlemania 3. He was somewhere around 6'11 there. Hulks a good fuckin dude!
Mike Fu - I MET HIM A FEW TIMES. He actually is a very nice guy. Very kind and and friendly.
Hes like 60 and he looks like that? Holy shit
or maybe he was just trying to work out. most people don't like being disturbed when they are lifting.
No mention of the sex tape?!?!?!?
Hogan telling the truth for once, about steroids before they were illegal
You'd be surprised, the WWE is scripted, so conserved violence is Hogan's forte.
They will never beat them in the States though.
The Hulkster is definitely one of the best wrestlers of all times, but the Ultimate Warrior kicked his ass!!!
Hogan kicked his ass brother, but referee was knocked out
Wonder if Hogan has liver problems he has an extended stoomach

This little punk,
Couldn't stand up,
Shake the man's hand
Who the hell is this looser doesn't stand up to shake hulks hand.?
So he always wears the head scarfs because he’s bald?
Could just be organ enlargement due to HGH.
