- Kayla and I reacting to Ariana Grande - God Is A Woman (Official Video). Ariana has done it again with another gem off her new album Sweetener. First there was the single No Tears Left to Cry, then The Light Is Coming, and now God is a Woman. THIS WOMAN IS ON THE ROLL! I am loving every minute of these singles and music videos she is putting out. I love the positive message she is sending and I am loving all the symbolism, girl power and creativity that went into this video. Watching this video I can tell that Ariana and her creative team put a lot of time, work, and heart into this project and they executed it so well. Ariana always had a nice voice and I always thought she was one of this generations top pop icon girls but she is making a whole new path for herself and going even deeper into her creative side and I love every minute of it. This new album is so different from the rest with different sounds that I was not used to hearing from her and the visuals!....THE VISUALS...thats all I can say lol. I love it!
PS. Peep that quote from the movie Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino (apparently recited by Madonna in this music video) ... I didn't notice that until I started editing lol

the song is about the universe is within a women and that they are capable of doing what they want and are not of afraid asking for something the song also talks about women working there asses off and breaking the ceiling because they are trying so hard they are working their asses off the song is about how women are all the source of life and men need to stop thinking that they are superior and entitled to everything because it should be equal the part where broke the ceiling she was breaking the barrier of women progress the legs represents women sitting on top of the world the part she's pregnant is that woman are all source of life so much more symbolism like the ugly words bouncing off of her and the gofer screaming is because it's a reference how conservatives will feel towards the title the part with the balloon planets she is saying that women go through a lot but they also try to keep the universe together there's so much more Madonna (the voice in the song as arianas message)was also saying take care of all women because they are powerful and they shouldn't be killed they are supposed to be treated right the part where she's in the bed she's a female egg and the guys are the sperm and she doesn't want to get fertilized
the part where women are turned around and Ariana is facing forward she's saying that women should stand out and be who they are sisters unite and the book is the bible that says women can't be anything that they are horrible beings but they are not the candle part is about to light the way of a women's future so many god references too (didnt feel like writing it in proper punctuation)

RJ Rose God is not a woman, plus women are very hard working not disagreeing with that. However, there is NO equality or 50/50. One person MUST drive and one person MUST sit in the passenger. The man is the head, the leader, the one who has the final say. Also, women are not the source of life, MAN holds the sperm from the beginning, so life comes from us. Does that make the woman not important, no... But it would be wrong to say she is the source or orgin of life, that is false.

A few stuff u might have not noticed: the random animal screen part is because the animal is a beaver and that cause be used as a reference to... you know? Vagina (embarrassing moment here) anyway. The scene where’s she’s on a thigh rope in the end of the video idk if u have notice but the balloons she holds are actually the planets, which implies she’s like, messing with the universe like in the first shot of the video with the hullabaloo universe reference. Something else u might have not notice is that everything in the music video has the purpose of focus in woman symbols and how it can bring light to us, as giving birth and stuff. Another point is like, the paint, the flame, her hands while flouting everything is vagina’s shape. The part here she thought the hammer and breaks the ceiling is a reference to apple 1984 ad where the new products break the alienation of the old technology as Ariana breaks the church alienation. There are more stuff to talk about but for now...

It's not an Apple reference. "Breaking the glass ceiling" is a common saying in English that refers to exceeding limits or breaking established rules and norms. It's the most on the nose of all the symbolism in this video and all the symbolism in this video is about one main thing: the power of women, the specific kind of power that only they have.
