Excellent stuff. Wild that it's from '83 when the sound and the cover art could've come from some DIY band in 2020 - but hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
There's a good pic of these playing live on the Facebook page 80s punk lost worst forgotten. There's a photo of me on there too doing the wanker sign to two coppers surrounded by a bunch of punk mates in Brighton back in the 80s.
Pretty cool that Colin Richardson worked on this single. He did a lot of heavier music later on Slipknot, Carcass, Machine head, As I Ly Dying, Fear Factoryt, Bullet for my valentine and so on (Exploited etc). Good sound on this one,. He also did El Salvador Insane, Varukers and some more. Think he was a big part of this singles and some others greatness....earlu days for him.
funny...this is ultra violent, they released this in 1983, 83 being the murder number in gematria, now slipknot has a song called gematria, the killing name...even as i lay dying had a murder scandal. wonder what weird shit that goes on in this industry we dont understand yet.
Holy fuck, this just came on from autoplay and from the very first riff I've legitimately been in awe. How the hell did I not know of this or find this earlier? Just glad I found this heavy, overfueled, pipe bomb of a record

The vocalist Adie Bailey is still hoisting the flag in his current band Unholy Alliance en-gb.facebook.com/Unholyalliance1/ I highly recommend them, a musically proficient hybrid of punk/metal and a very powerful live band. In fact 'Crime For Revenge' usually forms part of their repertoire...
Been a metalhead since I was 13 and just now getting into punk. This kicks some serious ass and its actually playable for common folk as well. Unlike a lot of metal unfortunately. LONG LIVE PUNK!!!!!!!
This is awesome but I've never listened to this band before, my friend played it last night and now my YT account has recommended it to me. Your phone's are definitely listening to you as if everyone didn't already know. 😂
