But have you considered if their values align with yours? Or if their working style is complementary to yours?
These are two major factors, which if you don’t consider could result in a less than ideal working relationship with your new team member. The amazing thing is that if you get this right however you have better productivity and a harmonious workplace.
So, how do you find these perfect matches? Start by defining the skills and values that are non-negotiable for you. During interviews, really dig into how well candidates align with your business culture. And if you can, try them out on a project or two just to see how if the fit is right.
