A big factor alot of people dont look at is team comp. Is your team in need of a bruiser or assassin? What do the enemy teams comp look they like plan to do? Split push? Team Fight? Kite? these are factors alot of people dont think about when it comes to picking form.

In this case if Trynn was to win lane and Karasmai didn't go red they'd lose 100%. As trynn can just take hullbreaker and split. That factor alone can sway you to want to go red. Furthermore karasmais team will just CRUMPLE vs shaco if he doesnt pick red as red as good CC to help peel vs shaco but blue doesnt.
