I have one of these but with the 6 speed sludge box. Bought it new in 2013 and it’s still a great car. Only done 115,000km.

I drive a 2013 CBU ix35, 2wd... It goes up to 200kmh and the cut-off kicks in... couldnt go faster... had it since 2014, new... had no problems with it untill today! Daily driven car... changed to 17 rims and low profile tires... its a beast to drive especially at elevated roads... superb handling for a suv... i just need to change my suspensions, and it will be good as new! Keep up the good videos bro!

Just bought the same car, same engine but with AT transmission, 2014 model 90.000km... Being now my 6/7th car I just have to say Hyundai did surprised and impressed me a lot. I was in beetwen a Toyota RAV4 2016, 4x2 MT and a litlle more expensive. So glad I went with the IX35...
It's not a fast car,it handles great at low rev, good torque good aceleration for it's weight, nice consumptions, handles great on easy off-road as well, confortable (not a Volvo, but does the job), materials overall are good and seem they will last long, other great aspect Hyundai services are not that expensive.
I saw quite few on sale with more than 200/250.000 km's so I'm hopping to drive it a long time...

what do you mean not allowed, I've seen small cars like hatchback driving around 140kph on motorways all the time, it seems like there's no speed cam around but there are signage
@@higherpurpose1212 wdym you get cameras and cops all over the place here in australia. If you do 130kph you’ll get your license suspended. I owned a 2012 hyundai ix35 highlander in grey and I will admit that I do around 120 to 125kph in the 100kph zones but the most i’ve ever been fined for was 10 over the speed limit whilst overtaking someone in an 80 zone.
@@V1-Rotate242They know exactly where the cameras are, so when past those, they speed , I know I drive max at 110kph after copping 2 fines exceeding 120, so learned my lesson, but it just happens regularly and you can see UTEs and big SUV around 130+ past the cameras
@@higherpurpose1212 True they are also annoying with cameras on the back of bridges which you can only see when you pass them. I got copped doing 130kph When I had my 2010 mazda 3 mps because I got pissed off that someone in the right lane was driving slowly. I explained it to the cop and they let me off with 120kph because i did 130kph for a short amount of time. I basically zoomed up to 130kph and then slowed down to 120kph.

I currently still drive a 2016 Tucson the 1.7 CRDI with 116 bhp. I managed to hit 195km/hr on the needle with 5 occupants inside the car. Which isn’t too bad considering it’s a crossover and only has 116hp. It would probably hit 200+ if I were the only occupant. Hyundai improved their engines.

In Paraguay the Hynduai ix35 is named Hyundai Tucson.
Ix 35 is just in Europe.. For the rest of the World they dindnt change the name
nur mit ner Stage 1 für ca. 700 - 800 Euro laufen die Dinger richtig gut und über 200, finde nicht schlecht für so nen Hobel.
Mine is 2014 1.7 crdi with a soft engine tuning ( 135 HP ). Trouble free and can hit cca 190 kmh.
just bought an ix35 CRDI AWD with 184 HP, manual will get on friday.... cant imagine how the acceleration is on the 184 compared to this....

I feel Hyundai Eurpean models have better quality than the American. Interior looks better and has a thick insulated look
That's because the European is more critical than an American.
Also have stronger brakes and stiffer suspensions.
US specs are way more floating on the road.

I have one. 2008 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 CRDi 140 HP, 305 Nm. Is incredible. You don't expect the vehicle to have that response and torque. It is also very reliable, it has no given me any mechanical problems during the time that i have had it.
