▸ Skaar is the son of the Hulk and Caiera the Oldstrong. After Caiera's death, a cocoon containing Skaar fell into the lake of fire. After a period of time, Skaar emerged from the cocoon, appearing to be the age of a human boy. A year later, he appeared to have grown to a young adult and had spent time in the swamps with Old Sam who attempted to raise, teach and guide him after he discovered him shortly after Shadow People burned tattoos into his skin. It took Old Sam months to get him to wear a loincloth and speak.

Abomination isn't just dumb muscle. He has shown multiple times to be able to think and plan on his goals. It's usually other media (mainly animation) that depicts him as dumb.
I’m loving absorbing man more and more than I used to. Guy really needs to get into his own comic series outside of his work with gamma flight. There’s many stories that need written where he absorbs different materials, gaining different abilities from each, and trains himself to absorb multiple materials at once 😂
Considering it's a magic based ability who knows what his limit is. Though my favorite use of his ability would have to be in the Earth x storyline where he absorbs Ultron, making Creel a genius is a terrifying possibility.
One thing I think people forget about Skaar is that he isn’t just the son of the Hulk, he’s the son of the Worldbreaker. Iirc Bruce even mentions during their time together that he thinks Skaar is really one of the only people who could take him.
Even without gamma, Skaar has to be fairly powerful, right?

@safwaan hassan Uhh... I don't know. In Maestro World War M, Maestro Hulk talks to Namor where he recounts being sent off of the planet, the same as World War Hulk, or World Breaker Hulk, (I haven' t touched up on that stuff for a while), but wouldn't that make Maestro stronger than that version of Hulk at least.

Skarr is my favorite hulk imagine a version of the Hulk who is basically Conan the Barbarian with the power to control tectonics plate basically a tier below Worldbreaker Hulk

General Fortean was from Jeff Parkers, Red Hulk. He wanted revenge on Red Hulk for "killing" General Ross.

I was wondering if you could consider going over John Byrne's run on the Fantastic Four. I think it's one of the best runs on the series and a defining moment for the franchise. Byrne's approach to the series was unique in that he pushed the boundaries of the comic book format itself, breaking up traditional layouts and telling stories in new and interesting ways. His character studies and exploration of complex moral themes drew inspiration from various genres such as horror, sci-fi, and noir mysteries. Byrne's run also gave new life to the female member of the team, depicting Sue Richards as a maturing mother who was more vocal about her problems than the team's issues. Never understood the Skaar takes. We don't have all the info on how/why he was born, his mother, and his relationship with Bruce. We can't keep making assumptions based off of a 5 sec end credit scene without context.

Has The Absorbing man always been able to touch technology and trun into cyborg? I really liked him in Agents of Shield, and now it seems they are setting him up for a big storyline centered around him, I hope. Also, what if he touches an inginity stone? Or nano tech?

He was always capable of it, but most writers never really explored the capabilities of the Absorbing Man until the last decade, decade and a half.
Part of that was that he used to primarily be a Thor villain, it’s where he got his powers after all, so he typically took godly asswhoopings from a thunder god.
Then he’d usually be shuffled around and be a jobber for teams like the Avengers or F4, usually a henchmen for a bigger bad since cash/promises of power motivate Crusher over a sincere desire to hurt people (Depending on the writer ofc).
In-universe Crusher is a meathead through and through and didn’t think to start doing it until someone said something to him, basically calling him an idiot for not even analyzing his own monicker of “Absorbing Man” not limiting him to stuff that allows him to hit harder.

Just a thought, but if The One Below All I’d the hulled out version of The One Above All then shouldn’t that technically mean T.O.B.A. Should be stronger? I mean if a person Hulks out and becomes immensely more powerful than his/her normal self then why wouldn’t the same apply to them? It was that way with Thor as well. I was so confused by the Skaar in "She-Hulk".
There is a noticeable difference in presentation between the 90s and early 2000s superhero genre movie and the Disney Fantasy Superhero movies and series given today.
It's good to see Skaar come back and when it comes to the version of Skaar we saw at the end of She-Hulk. At first I wasn't really digging the look but my friend Mike thought up a theory that maybe fingers crossed Marvel will do with Skaar and that when Bruce meets Skaar for the first time he looks like comic book Skaar. Long hair, loincloth and big sword but on their way to Earth Bruce tells him that they were going to meet his side of the family given how his side of family are from what we saw in She-Hulk. He probably told Skaar to wear a shirt and put his hair in a man bun to look more "presentable" to the family. Then after he can go back to his old look sort of be treated like how you sometimes have to dress up for a family get together but afterwards you dress the way you normally dress when you get home.
This makes sense which is why this probably isn't what's going to happen even though I agree Marvel have just made the laziest decisions after Endgame
