  • Race 10 for the American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) Round 4 was Legacy Middleweight. It was my most anticipated race of the day. I had podiumed for this race at this track before and this was my chance to prove to myself that I could do it again. Challenges would be 1. the heat peaking at this time of day, (temps were at about 102 and getting on the bike I could already feel some cramping in random muscles despite my efforts to hydrate all week, and tire grip was going away), 2. the threat of gremlins popping up with my 08 R6 (In round 1, my throttle delivery completely gave out, due to electrical issues), 3. lining up behind all my fellow expert competitors - only novices were behind me, and last year Austin Helie AFM 727 was a novice and finished ahead of me in the overall race standings, he would be gridded on the front row.
Laptimes for this race for me:
    Lap 1 - 2:00.276
Lap 2 - 1:58.355 (my fastest lap of this race)
    Lap 3 - 1:59.256
    Lap 4 - 2:01.380 (electronics/shift issues appeared)
    Lap 5 - 2:00.349
    Lap 6 - 1:59.439
Thank you to Woodcraft Technologies for their support this season, without their race parts this bike wouldn't be race ready. Also Ctracing Ctracetirescom for providing the stickiest tires.
I would appreciate if you could like this video and my page. With enough followers I just might be able to earn some pennies doing these videos. Let me know in the comments if you followed and I will follow back. I'm still a ways off but everything helps.
