A1/A6 Amsterdam - Almere, NL

A1 and A6 motorways in the Netherlands, eastbound from Amsterdam to Almere. It is part of the Schiphol - Amsterdam - Almere (SAA) € 5 billion road expansion project. This section was almost entirely finished in 2017.

Wow, een aardig stuk 6 rijstroken op de A1. Prachtig stuk snelweg is het geworden de A1/A6! Ik had wel verwacht dat jij hier een video over zou maken!
Ik ben de afgelopen week in New York geweest, hier heb ik ook een stuk gefilmd van de wegen. Dit zal op mijn andere kanaal Natureandmore1 gaan verschijnen.

De Muiderbrug is verbreed veel later dan 1970!En dit is niet de Hollandsebrug van 1970,dat is die aan de andere kant,deze is van zeer recent,2017 of zo iets. De brug is dus verdubbelt.De A6 is dus nog niet klaar,waarschijnlijk eind 2020 helemaal tot de laatste afslag naar Almere-buiten.

They switched the directions at the interchange a few weeks ago. Until early May, A6 used to exit on the right. Despite extensive signage (both conventional and temporary warning signs), people still drive in the wrong direction, probably thinking the GPS cannot be wrong. Already 3 kilometers in advance (1:20 in the video) there is a yellow sign warning drivers about the upcoming split.
