Hey everyone, hope you are doing great. One of the many video requests I've received is to provide a tutorial on how to map your midi controller in omnisphere. In this video I am using a studiologic SL|Mixface, but the procedure will work on any midi controller of your choosing.
By mapping controls to different parts of omnisphere, you can achieve real-time control of parameters like cutoff and resonance. It is also possible to map controllers to alter the filter section, yes that is the attack, decay, sustain and release envelope.
If you have enough buttons and sliders you can use them to control the volume levels of a multi for instant mixing as you play live. To take this one step further, you could save a template for each set, track or concert that you play.
I trust this video has been helpful. If there is anything that you would like a tutorial on regarding omnisphere, drop a comment below. If you don't want to make a public comment, head on over to adrianearnshaw.com/contact and drop me a private message.

Brilliant. Thank you mate. Dinged and Subscribed.
Welcome aboard!
That's quite an amazing product! If that impresses you you would probably fall in love with the panorama P1😊 it's basically the setup with even more knobs to play with!
Along with their nektarine software (
Thank you, I will certainly check that one out.
how do you do for the controller link the faders and knobs to the active omnisphere view? it's a mixface feature??
You can assign any parameter to your controller no matter the view. For example, I can learn the cutoff on layer A and then learn that same control on layer B using the same knob on the midi controller.
Adrian what controller are you using on this video? Enjoyed video..
Thank you. It’s a studiologic mixface www.studiologic-music.com/products/mixface/
Really hard to see anything. Your screen part is way to small :-(
