Join us in today's vlog as we venture into the vibrant and bustling Balboa Park in San Diego! Despite a late start after lunch, our afternoon was packed with excitement and colorful discoveries, starting around 4 PM.
🚂 First Stop: Balboa Park Railroad
Our adventure began with a delightful train ride. Ideal for kids but equally fun for adults, the train tickets were a steal at just $4 each! Our son absolutely loved the experience, and so did we!
🎨 Artistic Escapes: Spanish Village Art Center
Next, we wandered into the Spanish Village Art Center, a mesmerizing spot filled with colorful pathways and an array of art galleries. The vibrant atmosphere was truly captivating!
🌊 Fountain Fun and Floral Wonders
Our stroll then took us to the iconic Balboa Park Fountain, where we enjoyed live music and the refreshing spray of water. Just a hop across the street, we visited the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden, a floral paradise that was a feast for the senses.
🌿 A Peek at the Botanical Garden
Although the Botanical Garden was closed for reconstruction, it didn't stop us from capturing some beautiful moments on video and photo right outside its gates.
🍴 Savoring Local Delights
Along the way, we were tempted by vendors selling fresh churros and caught glimpses of lively shows, adding to our park experience.
🏛️ Visitor Center and Concert Space
As our day wound down, we found the Visitor Center had already closed, but we didn't miss the chance to take a relaxing walk around the expansive open concert space.
