The Australian native’s modern pop sensibilities and uncompromising lyrics set a benchmark in Christian music, leading a new generation of artistry in the genre. St. James recently partnered with world-renowned worship collective Bethel Music and her label debut released July 24, 2020.
Her most recent work was partnering with her younger brothers on the hit 2024 film, "Unsung Hero," which details the harrowing journey for their family from Australia to Nashville, Tennessee in the early 90s. The film also spotlights Rebecca's first dip into music, and her dad's role in that breakout.

I can still hear my curly haired little 4yr old (who’s now 13) singing Rebecca’s lyrics, “Hear the sound of the crown, sing alleluia. Face down, on the ground, victorious…!” This little girl of mine used to pray nightly as a young child that Jesus would show her His face and His eyes. It’s no wonder she loved that song of Rebecca’s, where crowns were being cast at the feet of Jesus. Our whole family appreciates her music and her heart so much! ❤
Very cool to hear RSJ call out the Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer. Pastor JM is a great example of this and a blessing to the Pacific Northwest, on how to stay grounded and follow the Lord in the pace He has for us. Following the Lord's timeline may be seen as odd by the world, but right on time in the eyes of the Lord.
i found a deeper relationship with God because of Rebecca’s music 🎶 i seen her here in canada 🇨🇦 for a YC ( youth convention) i was 14 and seeing her in concert made me deep dive and play her music all the time and my fave song has always been “ you are loved “ ❤ thanks for the faith you’ve shown and shared through the years millions have found God because of you❤🎉

I’ve always loved her! I’ve even joked with hubby that she’s the only woman I’d approve to be his wife & my kids mom if I died! 😂 Guess that’s off the table now that she has a family of her own. 🥰😆
