She's just a young woman...give it up for her! Good job! Not an easy song. Satriani has even said he's re-written and tweaked the song many times since it's original studio release. It's basically -- along with Satch Boogie and Surfing w/the Alien -- his Zeppelin's equivalent to Stairway to Heaven.
She'll only get better. Give her a break.

I'm learning this song now. The notes are surprisingly easy. To make it sound good is fn hard. That's because Joe is a fn genius and I'm a jerk with a 30 year old Ibanez and a distortion pedal. So for this young lady I give kudos.

Great job, but perfect example of why Joe is Joe. She played most of the notes of the piece, but only Joe can play it with the emotion that makes it great. He is so damn good that each note he plays seems to be just the right note. This song is so tasty and has so much emotion that I get goose bumps when I hear Joe play it. Good for her to learn this song and to get up and play it!

It's a bit slow yes, but I'm guessing they just got that song rehearsed and are trying in front of a live audience. Credit to them - it is not as easy a song to play as it sounds.

This is the tempo Joe always plays it live. Not sure why he plays it live slower than the studio version always.

Probably a combination of too high of a string gauge and a bad set up. No fault of her own, just bad guidance.
Cos she ain't got the blues.. btw not all bends were missed.. she did catch a couple of them.

If you're going to perform and record yourselves like rock stars I highly recommend tuning your instruments properly. Makes a world of difference. Also mellow that high end tone a little, it's like fingernails on a blackboard every time you foul a note. x

Good playing. Try breathing deeply when you get nervous or somebody yells/gets you excited it will help you stay relaxed and focused :) My mom always sings a long when I am playing (starts humming the damn song) and it drives me nuts lol

Shouldn't play it live unless you have some feeling and play the right notes. And a better tone. almost painful. A very difficult song to play. I must have played this tune 100 times before feeling comfortable with it. It's like when you see a bad actor, you know something's wrong but you can't put your finger on it. Music, like acting and art for that matter has to come from deep inside you. You can't just play the notes, or say the lines, or just put the paint brush on the canvas.

This is not an easy song and the crazy thing is I could be wrong but I heard Joe came up with it on the fly during a sound check so any negative feedback you try and play it instead of being so critical and talking trash honestly the girls enjoying herself she looks happy and proud to be on stage playing a song by well Joe satriani is one the greatest guitarist out there, she or nobody said we was the cream of the crop or the best of the best practice makes perfect as we all know, and she's not afraid of the stage and she's smiling, I really don't think she cares what kinda negative comments people leave since some are just randomly judging her and and not seeing the fact that she already apparently has a gig playing live with a band and appears to be getting paid for it, and she's young you get even half as good as the greats by going halfway and they weren't that good themselves in the beginning this girl's badass and seems to do what she lives so when you can say the same thing I'm sure you can talk trash then but you may find there's no point in it, as even crappy musicians can still entertain a crowd this band is entertaining the crowd if you notice and playing good music and they are young so to the band I tip my hat to you people are not easily entertained well done I wish you the best life has to offer

Joe’s song has some tricky fingerings and note rhythms. You have the notes now....in a few hundred more times through it you’ll have Joe’s feeling & technical minutiae nailed, if you aspire to that.
