This is the beautiful serenity the Zelda games create, that I sometimes wonder if it's so intentional, being so effective. Maybe it's just meant to be a small area one enters, finds a treasure and quickly leaves, but that's the joy of video games, finding more than what is.
Such a tranquil, still, yet powerful melody. It makes me think of something eternal, beautiful and unmovable, like mountains. Something that will stand still and strong, unchanged by the flow of time. I haven't played any Zelda games in my childhood or teenage years until university, so no strong nostalgic feelings towards this particular melody, but it reminds me about my high school years, when I used to listen to a lot of Dungeon Synth and Atmospheric Black Metal, especially in summer nights while I was sleeping (mostly ambient tracks from Black Metal albums for such case though).
OOT and Majora's were part of my childhood, Wind Waker part of my early teens. I loved Twilight Princess but it was released at a crazy time of life as I was trying to survive the transition to adulthood and somehow it was lost in the fray just how much of the ambience in this game was straight magical. I'm re-experiencing all of it now and it's just the best. Perfect to have playing while I do nearly any task, but I think this track is going into my playlist for single player table top game time

What happened to the sanctuary twilight princess song?
Like the forest sanctuary? Edit: I see what your talking about, I wonder what caused him to private kakariko’s sanctuary ambience.
