  • Hoooray, the circus has arrived!...
Woah, woah, woah, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
You surely heard the today's march, but might not know its name or origins.
It was made by famous Czech composer Julius Fučík in 1897, inspired by ancient Rome, after reading "Quo Vadis" by Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz. But later, someone had a "genious" idea that instead of signalling the approach of gladiators, it can signal the coming of clowns into circus arena...
Judging that the sand-covered arena appears both in Roman arenas and in circus... well, there is at least some connection.
Enjoy and have a good (and funny) April Fools' Day!
