Clearing up any confusion about it! Curcuit's Store's Hitbox Video: • Hitbox Expansion using... Arumi's Clear Video: • 【Minecraft】x coord sorry its not cynimal level but I hope its comprehensive lol
I forgot to mention in the video but the reason you can't sneak earlier inside of the wall and wallclip is because sneaking doesn't reset the hitbox when inside of a block.
the reason for the minute hitbox size change is twofold: 1. the position of entities and their hitboxes are technically two separate "things" and 2. hitboxes are stored as absolute (ish) coordinates by their min & max corners rather than position & size (despite entities also... having a position & size) every time an entity is moved its hitbox is recalculated based on a bunch of factors, position & entity "size" being the most obvious. So theres a lot of opportunity for roundoff error to creep its way in unless its changed since Ye Olden Days that im familliar with the insides of, this is how the camera moving up when you step up a block works. the hitbox moves up, but the y of the entity stays where it was before upstepping and a "y slide offset" is applied to smoothly move it back up to where it should be over time (its a little weirder than that but very hard to explain in text v_v)
Nice video. I was trying to do quad neo -0 with flat mm (speed II) earlier cause it has been theorized that it's possible if you had double z landings (since quad neo -0.5 is easily possible with single 45), but unfortunately turns out it's just impossible by .00654 (with single 45). It's possible with double 45 though (by 0.013) but it's way too hard. Sneaking at landing decreases the distance by quite a bit unfortunately, maybe another way to reset your hitbox would help.

i am more impressed of the fact that arumi uploaded while i was gone than this new parkour glitch itself
new knowledge just dropped 🤔🤔🤔
+1 knowledge

i would totally try and show this off to my friends if i could do any neo whatsoever. i suck at parkour but this is so cool
excellent video, there needs to be more videos like these on advanced pk tech

im thinking of making a follow up video that explains wall clipping
Awesome sauce
