Can't stop watching this! My favorite from their set. The Edge's guitar licks and Bono's delivery make this song. Still feels surreal that U2 finally performed in the Philippines!

that's what a lot of die hard fans who have been following the joshua tree concert series have been saying. the manila leg is the best surprise of the tour.
and if the Philippine tour wasn't announced in a last minute fashion, the crowd count would have had 10,000 more warm bodies in the stands since a lot of Filipinos bought tickets early on to watch the band in seoul, tokyo, and singapore.

Was lucky to have witnessed this. U2 is truly amazing. Bad is still one of my favourite songs Of U2. This reminds me of their Rattle and Hum version.

BONO is known to be a vocal in spiritual and politics. BUT PLEASE, IF HAVE A CONCERT AND FOR MANY PEOPLE WOULD COME AND SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS JUST WATCH YOU LIVE, JUST PLEASE STOP MIXING POLITICS, BE SENSITIVE WHEN YOU TALK. IF YOU PUT WHAT YOU SAID IN A SONG, YOU THINK PEOPLE WOULD BUY YOUR ALBUM JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE BONO? WHY NOT JUST TALK, EXPRESS YOUR POLITICAL AGENDA IN A RIGHT PLACE NOT IN A CONCERT. I'VE HEARD ABOUT YOUR CONCERT IN SINGAPORE LAST WEEK, YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN, BUT THOSE SINGAPOREAN ARE NOT ALL CHRISTIAN, YOU PREACH THEM BUT WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE DUDE. DON'T USE YOUR FAME TO CREATE DIVISIONS. HOW CAN YOU PREACH GOOD INTENTIONS IF YOU ARE NOT AWARE WHO'S PEOPLE YOU'RE PREACHING.

@@stevereyes3322 Just so you know, Bono does that every where he goes. He is an activist. He is for the fight against AIDS and other diseases, for fight against poverty, for human rights etc. In short, he cares for humanity. He has been doing this for years everywhere in the world. He has used his persona and his band to spread his advocacies and he has been effective. His music and his causes transcend politics. Just because you idolize Duterte is not a good enough reason to disregard Bono's contribution to the world society. He has nothing to be ashamed off.
And oh, if you haven't been aware of these tidbits about Bono and U2, you are not actually a fan. You should have known that he would raise issues like these before and during a concert and that is acknowledge people he admires some of them just happen to be belong to the opposition against Duterte (Bono is aware of the EJK's happening in the anti drug war). And if you heard him right, Bono also acknowledged the volunteers and the blood donation campaign here. That is not politics. Who international celebrity does that? He stakes his name on issues that he believes will benefit society. Despite his being activist and his causes, people still hanker for U2's music and a testament to that is that he filled that big arena where other international and local artists can't dare go. It hurts your feelings but man, get over it. Just enjoy U2's music less your politics.
