Remember hey season to go where Soldier Boy said had they let him raise his Homelander he would have gave him. I don’t know how true that is as you see Homelander can’t share the spotlight with Ryan. He’s afraid of being overshadow by his son. But possibly this is due to him not having a family and not being raised and having his own life I mean, I feel that Soldier Boy was able to live his own life until he was captured by the Russians, so maybe Soulja Boy could’ve shared the spotlight but Homelander definitely cannot.

They're different types of shows. Gen V: Supes still learning the ropes and not yet completely corrupted by the system. The Boys: Dealing with Supes who are too far gone.
