I had Crohn's real bad, was going through hell too. Fistulas, strictures, I don't know how I didn't off myself. You been through hell too, worse than me. I got real desperate, right before I was suppose to get my first resection. Went to an ND. Did a ton of blood tests, found out I had a lot of food sensitivities, switched to a Paleo type diet. Pretty much no grains, sugar, milk. Been 8 years now, fistula is gone, no more Crohn's. No meds either! Seriously consider doing a lil bit of reading, saved me from the knife. I went from 120lbs to 180lbs. I started reading Wheat Belly, the book, super info in there. Look up Robb Wolf too, he had Crohn's-Colitis too, seems grains/sugar/dairy is a real problem for us Crohn's people. He beat it too! Took me like 10 years to finally figure out what was making me sick. Hope you become inquisitive and take charge of your health!
I had one put in while in the hospital 10 years ago following surgery, and you are correct about not noticing it much while it is in. It was not even that bad having it put in. However, for a young lady like yourself to "throw one down", when it was not a have to situation, just to show your subscribers and others how to do it, is pretty guttsy. If I had to use one, I could do it, but just for a show and tell, I'm not sure......Great video. Wish I could give you 2 thumbs up.

For the one with two ends is just so you can administer two different types of liquids. I have seizures and sometimes can't keep down food or medicines for periods of time so I have to tube feed often. One end you can put medicines in and the other can be formula
I have severe Crohn's several surgeries now cause significant adhesions which can't be operated im 6' tall 95 lbs 35 yrs old fearing for my life I am switching back to tpn now but I've had it all the Crohn's has lead to gastroparesis you are an angel my dear thank you for your positive spin on a horrific disease you are a light sent by heaven to help so many I'm praying I can finally gain weight again, but I am around 90 days if I keep losing I won't make it please pray 😭

I have cancer of the esophagus and it's closing it making difficult to eat solid foods and even liquids if their grainy. Those small bits get stocked in my throat and when coughed them, blood comes out. I already turned in my Advanced Directive and I chose not to get a feeding tube implanted, but I am finding out that going hungry is not very pleasant experience; but I after I saw your presentation I have some doubts about my decision; you did mention that I am the one who is in control and nobody should influence my thoughts about how to die. Maggie, I am certain that you'll regain all faculties and enjoy food with your family as it should be: You're too young!With hope in my heart, I salute you.Angel lopez

My aunt suffered from a burst bowel and had to get a colostomy bag, she was on life support for 6 days :( she's fine now apart from the breast cancer she just got diagnosed with

They had to tube feed me why I was in a 2 month coma mine was into my stomach and I still have the mark it kind of looks like another belly button. But with your tube feeding since it was that you need certain stuff couldn't you just drink or eat what you would need wouldn't that be easier for you?

The double ended tubes (y port) is to be able to administer medication at the same time while feeding.

my comment is late but when having a ng tube inserted it helps to drink water and swallow the tube down as it is being inserted
