    Compare versions by:
    Sarah Vaughn - altered the melody (not for the better imo).
    Peggy Lee - a little weak, not the Leggy Lee we know.
    Dean Martin - partial. Classic Dean executed well for what was there.
    Vaughn De Leath - arrangement dated. If like that style, fine. Thankfully, the song was able to be updated. The phrasing "sometimes I HATE you". Not cute.
    I vote this version by Jennie Smith as the best.
    A+ arrangement.
    Simple phrasing of the time but done perfectly.

      Billie Holiday - this is very good. Billie is very identifiable of course. Cool arrangement.
      I would rank as current 2nd.
