@@garydomingos5562the playoff format is ridiculous. It absolutely should be 1 vs 8 etc etc. you are only highlighting a couple examples. You are not considering quite a few factors.
@@mickhoddy I just brought up the two examples the guy in the video brought up. Also the entire east bracket would be same if it was 1v8. The only teams that really have it bad are the jets and avalanche.
@@garydomingos5562 yeah I just know every decision comes down to money.. the NHL thinks divisional rivalries will be created by this format, so I’m assuming the dollar signs would somehow be there.
@@mickhoddy I don’t disagree, and as a leaf fan I actually wouldn’t mind the 1v8 format so that we don’t have to play Boston, Florida and Tampa in every single playoff series. I just think there is too much made of it. You have to beat great teams in order to win the Stanley cup.
