- Here comes the full Autobahn and country road DRIVE with the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage (517hp, 570Nm). Just listen to this awsome SOUND and enjoy the gorgeous looks! We as Automann-TV had the ability to drive this car for two days and want to deliver you the best and most authentic experience possible. From the cars that I have driven probably the Mercedes SLS is the only one that delivers a similar "big engine" feeling and causes turing heads on the road. my neighbor has this car and i ask him if i could have a look, he let me have a look and then said if i wanted to go in the drivers set so i hopped in and he also let me rev it!!! after this amazing experience this Aston Martin is by FAR... one of the best cars on the planet.... even compared with Ferrari's....

The Vantage is the best looking current Aston. It's aged incredibly well, and I hope they keep the looks. Shoehorning that V12 into it makes the sound so much better than the V8 version, although I find the Vanquish sounds even better. Want one.

Use a microphone. There is a brand called Zoom that makes one called the h1. Cheap and with a windsock on records decent audio on a really low budget. You do a good job on recording awesome sounds though! A youtube video where the audio is just amazing car sounds is badass, just listened to the 911 S one)

wie geht das, dieser wagen wie so gut wie alle astons mit V12 klingen geil. aber ein zonda ebenfalls mit V12 klingt richtig ekelhaft beschissen und kreischig wie die meisten supersportler....nächstes beispiel ami v8 und etliche deutsche v8 top aber ferrari v8 richtig reudiger nerviger ton.

manoman0 its not about 0-60 because the Aston has a traction issue and the Tesla does not what you should think about is what car is more fun to drive and what car puts a bigger smile on your face... cough cough the Aston V12, let me add - none of this eco electric crap that were seeing more of. Also the Aston's top speed is 190mph compared with the wheezy 155mph that most german saloons can achieve from the Tesla which has well over 150bhp more than the Aston.
Tom Forrest Who cares about top speed? That's nothing important to me or most people since we have strict speed limits on every road. Even in Germany. Remember, the Aston needs, like what, 6 gears while the Tesla does all the work with a simple reduction gear. You're right: Zooming silently past an Aston does definetly put a smile on one's face.
your missing the point the tesla is a heavy car at 2245kg or 4950lb and when you gather the size its obviously not going to be as nimble as the track focused Aston meaning its going to be slower in the corners and will have body roll for days. Also I would find it very boring to drive a car that is silent. That's one of the factors which make up a fast car to deliver an amazing sound! anyway the Aston would thrash the Tesla if the race was a mile
