I already have the baiting pole and thier unhooking mat, and used thier boilies. Good quality products and this looks equally as good! Well done Corus and Luke, great vid! 👌🎣
Same as the TFG brollie and Solar one. But it does look a good system.
Very impressed with that brolly! Reminded me of the old Wychwood Extremis that I had donkey’s years ago and for £200, you can’t really go wrong especially with the telephone numbers some companies are charging nowadays!
I ordered one . Just arrived today . Cannot wait to use. Hopefully this weekend.
Very good looking brolly system, don't care if they've copied other designs, looks ideal for an overnighter of cpl of nights and a very good price, other manufacturers are charging ridiculous prices for very similar products, time will tell if the build quality is up to scratch 👍
That's going straight in my basket 🔥👌🎣
Very very impressive at that price point! 👏🏻
Had my carpzone airwave brolly for about 5 years with no issues which is basically the same as this one(use it more than my hide xl) the vapour shield is a nice addition to the brolly and for a bargain price. For anyone considering this I'd recommend getting some quick release adapters for the stormpoles which make things a lot easier.
The carp zone airwave brolly was epic loved mine gutted when it broke on after lots of use
Really like the looks of this and the price range is great for what you get may treat my self to one
Looks like a great option. I’m looking for a brolly for day shelters and possibly 1 or 2 nights. This looks like a serious contender.
looks great
The only thing I'd change would be a front mozzy panel instead of a full infill but otherwise this looks like a great bit of kit for a decent price
I have the cyprinus magnetix which is very similar to this and has served me really well for a couple of years now, got my magnetix cheaper than 200 too..
Just purchased one of these from watching this review, just waiting delivery now 😁👍👍
Haha I knew soon as saw storm poles it was a copy of the solar undercover brolly, upside here is the inner vapour shield cos my solar loves to get wet!😂
Ideal!
Now I'd normally go "how much! “ but I'd be happy parting with this months gas bill money to buy it. The only criticism I'd have is perhaps they could have done a heavy duty groundsheet as an option but apart from that, yeah I'm impressed 👍
That looks just what im after for an over nighter
Exactly the same as the old Carpzone Airwave but under a diffent name with a few improvements.
Insane brolly systems for the price point and I really like that.
My airwave still going strong 7 seasons later…
@@georgemaltby557I've lost my heavy duty ground sheet for my airwave. I wonder if this one would fit. I'm really struggling to find one
Looks like a copy of the solar undercover brolly which I love! Bargain
yes i like this👍
Its like the solar system that i have but no infill with mine even the poles are the same great thing it is and love mine so i know that if mine get bust i can get one better lol
I would have liked to have known the height from the ground to the top of the zipped open front. Would I have to lean forward to see out if I am sitting in a chair?
Did you hnow theres vent panel in back for added air flow. Or did you miss that.
Well looks ok
Looks very similar to the tfg hardcore brolly
Exactly the same as solar one. Wonder if manufactured same place
Do they do a two man?
it is an exact copy of the carpzone brolly that has been out years
Can you use a brolly in the winter and have no stress?
You can if it has a the internal vapour shield which this probably does have 👌
i've got the carpzone airwave very good brolly system
I had that when it 1st came out it lasted a month and the trouble i had trying to send it bk was a joke
@@grahamlarkin1290 had mine years no problems
@@petertompkins6400 i must of got a dodgey 1 then. It happens.
Specs say its 135cm tall..........if it is . Its still too low for a proper chair
5000mm hydrostatic is only water resistant. If I was forced in to getting one I would certainly be looking at proofing it.
5000hh is more than adequate. I have a bivvy that is 5000hh and after 5 years of use is still waterproof.
It's a TFGEAR storm brolly renamed. Copy cat's
Who cares good value for the customer
Looks like a copy of the solar brolly system
What grips my whatsit with this is it is almost EXACTLY the same as the Solar undercover camo at the same RRP....the only 2 differences being
A, obviously the lack of camo
B, most infuriatingly, the inclusion of a vapour shield on the inside....why the he'll didn't solar do this.?
E
Not moaning too hard because I part exed and got a cracking deal on my solar one second hand and used twice if lucky but the vapour shield is a top addition and the corus..
Also, I've got to say this as it's just niggling and annoying me as wanted a clearer view while debating getting ine....but both this video and the solar one are pretty duff, the solar demo was in totally the wrong swim ...which you were kinda aware of resulting bad lighting...maybe busy lake.... in both vids also looked all over shop set up wise poles different angles and heights it made my head hurt. 😂
But to end on a positive and a question.
The small inner poles and the storm poles were already attached when I got my solar and the more I use it the simpler easier etc it is...first brolly system, not rocket science but a few quirks....the shorter poles have no issie with leaving in have put away leaving the main ones on and folded into the brolly when packed, now changed to folding outside the brolly, firstly rolling the lip back at the joint/hinge....is this something you could try if still available or did you try it that way, have no instructions as mine wasn't new but not sure if came with any for direction.?
When you set these up mostly referring the solar demo was the front at an almost vertical or sloped and if more vertical how does this affect internal space?
Haven't been able set mine up fully to play due to injuring my back 🙄
Cheers guys, all the above is light hearted followed by genuine question.
I have the solar, if you try set the front more fertile the shorter poles won't sit right nor the back I found....I'm 6'4 so don't anyway as I tuck to the back....also, your comment echoes my own thoughts to a T.....missed about not having a valid shield 😂
I was very interested in this video until he brung out black interconnecting tent poles
Sorry just cannot deal with this 😢
The reason its cheap is its 15 years old in design. You pay a high price for reasons.
Maybe - but most Brolly systems are going to be more or less the same size and design.
For £200.00 you are getting all of the features that you would get with a Brolly costing considerably more £ , this looks like great value.
I've just got the sonik extractor bivvy not really much room what beds will fit in this
(verified buyer) 20 years in the carp game always preferred a brolly system over a bivvy for the simplicity of setting up and packing down plus all the options u get with a brolly. Yes I know there's systems like the titans and all that malarkey and sonik have brought out a very reasonably priced version of these but still your looking closer to 300 quid plus and for some that's not feasible. This system is basically an improved veriosn of the TF gear hardcore brolly system when I say improved I mean lightened in weight and pack down size with some added features, the ground sheet although lightweight is nice and genuinly fits whare it should not like some whare you spend hours getting it right. Having said that there's only a few months of the year I use one but it's good enough. I'm sure they will release a heavy duty option if it's in high demand, ive had expensive through to medium and cheap systems in the past and I'm very impressed for the money I also got mine through ebay with a promo code and got it for 189.99 absolute bargain (yes it's brand new straight from the retailer). I'm yet to test it in high continuous winds but I've been out in down poors, strong gusts and very icey bitter conditions and it's done me a solid no leaks no condensation with the inner skin fitted and even though the ground sheet is lightweight (cheap) it's taken all of what I've thrown at it. Will it last years n years like my tf gear hardcore brolly system only time will tell. Will it last longer than my fox ultra 60 over 400 quid..... i can almost garentee that the bell cap on both my ultra 60s leaked I ended up getting a refund after the second replacement. All in all well done corus for not adding the carp tax just because your a well known brand I can see fox n Nash second guessing a few things after this release.
Decent for the price
Tidy bit of kit , at a tidy price
